CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It is and it has poison arrows in it.
For the words are as poison arrows. This includes the enemy.
When they talk, they leave arrows sharp as daggers. Hurts the ears TBH...
And sometimes folks are so riled with issues they don't always notice til they do the work of faith in the Lord via His healing and graces.
Then we hear it and we won't/don't want it.

I have A TON load of dark nights/circumstances etc... and no idea why, but I guess to 'cleanse or purge me' on earth if I wish to go straight to Heaven.
Keeps you in prayer, faith, love and hope because outside of Him the Almighty, it's a jungle out there.

I was talking about this issue with my old pastor years ago, and asked why the sexual drive was so strong.
Amongst other things he said "I know (Christian) men who have been driven to marriage by it." In other words having a wife was the only way they were going to get any release from their persistent frustration.
It's one thing to blame the world, the devil and the flesh and all the rest of it, but God made it - the sex drive that is.
It can be a pain in the moral neck.
