I am a person, not "the left". I hold a variety of views depending on the specific topic, subject to change. I tend to strongly disagree with racist, antisemitic and homophobic people. Is that clear enough?

Rumors started well before his 2008 Presidential campaign. The blurb from the publisher didn't become a thing until 2012 when Breitbart made it one.

I know you don't think it was, but you appeared to be implying NxNW asserted that merely suggesting President Obama was born in Kenya (as the literary agent did by mistake) was racist. They did not.

I was here and an active participant from 2008 to 2016. I saw the claims of the birth location conspiracy mongers. There's no doubt in my mind that racism was the motivating factor. At the very least there was racial and cultural "othering" that came in to play.

To repeat: If I disagree with those who are racist, antisemitic, and homophobic that does not mean that everyone I disagree with is racist, antisemitic, and homophobic. Basic logic.
