If you missed the second article I posted....read it. You'll see the Dept of Education promoting CRT radicals and their literature through the teacher's union.

There is nothing like that, though Fox News does it's best to insinuate.

"Marten was not confirmed at the federal department until a month after its handbook was published in April [2021]".

But she borrowed the Obama time machine, snuck a citation of this organization into the handbook. Got back into the Obama time machine, gave the handbook from the future to her past self in San Diego. And as a future Biden Administration employee, she ordered her previous self to invite staff at a San Diego school to participate "in a book study with Bettina Love’s book" in preparation "for the 2020-21 school year". (i.e. the book study took place during the Trump Administration)

Meanwhile, Harris-Aikens (who was at the Department of Education when the handbook was released) got into the Obama time machine and gave the handbook to her former self, so she could force The National Education Association (where she was a senior director) to host "Love as a speaker at a June 2020 event" during the Trump Administration.

Are we good now?
Equality and visibility for trans people is teaching "CRT and Queer Theory"?
Hardly.

There's a lot there, but I don't see any curriculum changes directed to teachers to teach these things.

I've done far more to back up my claims than you have in the OP. Do you have any evidence that the state forced teachers to remove books or did they do it themselves?

The Florida Department of Education made it clear that the new law applies to books in classrooms.

At least two counties in Florida, Manatee and Duval, have instructed teachers to remove or hide their classroom books. As in the OP:

Manatee County’s January directive, obtained by The Post, says teachers who maintain elementary and secondary classroom libraries must “remove or cover all materials that have not been vetted” in accordance with state law.

---
Here it is more directly:

"Books not on the district-approved list or not approved by certificated media specialists need to be covered or stored and paused for student use," Renfro says in the video, [see 5:25 or so] explaining that the district is trying to comply with new state laws restricting schoolbooks.

I'm not sure what problems you are having....clearly her speaking engagement was under Trump. Having banned CRT from the federal government....it would seem they either decided to do this behind his back or figured out that between covid and national riots, they could get away with it.

From the article....

"A critical race theory advocate has connections to at least two top officials with the Department of Education, which promoted the activist’s radical nonprofit in a handbook intended to assist more than 13,000 public school districts.

A Department of Education spokesperson previously told Fox News it "was an error" to link to the Abolitionist Teaching Network. But the department has repeatedly ignored questions about why the radical group was included in the handbook in the first place and who added the link."

Now....maybe you didn't read the whole article?

Under Biden...

The Department of Education published its handbook in April 2021. It linked to Love’s group, the Abolitionist Teaching Network, in a section discussing how public schools should consider students' race and social and emotional needs.

So that's Biden’s Department of Education, pushing a radical CRT author to 13000 schools in 2021. When the issue got hot....they said "oops".

We good now? Or do we need to completely reword the whole article for you so you can put it together?

I mean seriously, Biden lifted the restriction on CRT in less than his first month. You believe he wasn't pushing it? Is this a serious position or full blown denial?

Neither of the people were part of the federal government.

Mistakenly including the group as one resource in a handbook. That is nowhere near a push or directive for all teachers to include CRT and Queer Theory in their lesson plans.

I don't think you're seriously asking me to show Biden writing school curriculum.

I know it's a long list....but keep reading it. You'll see not only his support for transitioning children, but supporting them in school as well. It's literally the Biden Administration offering teacher training and resources for "trans children". You know....the prepubescent kind.

Now....if you think all this "support" the department of education and the Biden Administration to "trans students and basically anything you can call them today" is not in any way related to the widespread educational changes that magically sprung up under his administration....then say that.

Say "I don't believe this administration is in any way responsible for the vast changes in education including the way we teach race and sex/gender....despite this administration openly supporting those changes."

I'm going to need you to say that's what you actually believe to even bother with this any further.

Oh so they aren't forcing teachers to do this....they're just telling them what to do...like you would tell someone who works for you what to do.

Ok....so if they literally use CRT resources for instructing teachers nationwide....that's not evidence they were using CRT for instructing teachers nationwide lololol???

What sort of evidence would you want? I literally gave you exactly what you asked for and suddenly it's not enough.

Here's the handbook. The actual reference to the Abolitionist Teaching Network is pretty hard to find.

I don't care if it's hard for you to find.

You asked for evidence, you got it, now you're in denial of reality. There's no evidence that would satisfy you. If Biden walked up to the podium and said we're supporting CRT in every classroom....you'd say it was an accident.

One reference in a 50 page document about reopening schools after COVID-19 is the Biden Administration pushing to promote the ideas of the Abolitionist Teaching Network? Nonsense.

How about a proposal that got shot down when the heat over CRT was becoming a concern to the administration?

From the office of elementary and secondary education, department of education....

"American History and Civics Education programs can play an important role in this critical effort by supporting teaching and learning that reflects the breadth and depth of our Nation's diverse history and the vital role of diversity in our Nation's democracy. For example, there is growing acknowledgement of the importance of including, in the teaching and learning of our country's history, both the consequences of slavery, and the significant contributions of Black Americans to our society. This acknowledgement is reflected, for example, in the New York Times' landmark “1619 Project” and in the resources of the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History.[2]
Accordingly, schools across the country are working to incorporate anti-racist practices into teaching and learning. As the scholar Ibram X. Kendi has expressed, “[a]n antiracist idea is any idea that suggests the racial groups are equals in all their apparent differences—that there is nothing right or wrong with any racial group. Antiracist ideas argue that racist policies are the cause of racial inequities.” [3] It is critical that the teaching of American history and civics creates learning experiences that validate and reflect the diversity, identities, histories, contributions, and experiences of all students."

How about now? Have we crossed the line of plausible deniability yet?

That's the Education Department literally proposing sources like the 1619 Project and "anti-racist" author Kendi, as part of the curriculum. If you wanted curriculum recommendations, there they are. It doesn't really get more obvious than that.

Nope....not nonsense. That doesn't just accidentally sneak in there. What sort of operation do you think this is? We're talking big money. They aren't pulling books at random off of shelves. They aren't linking sources on accident.

Give it a rest. Open your eyes already.

You asked for evidence...

1. The Biden Administration
2. The Department of Education
3. Pushed or promoted CRT.

The examples already filled your request. I'm not going to bother with the queer theory stuff if you can't admit what everyone already knows is true.

You do know what you said, right?

You're able to scroll back and take a peek at the words you used. I don't have to quote you on this tiny thread do I?

I know what words I used.

There's an example but if you really want me to connect the dots for you between your wasted taxpayer dollars, big tech grants, teacher union heads, and Department of Education goals....you'll need to be very specific about what it is you'd like me to show you.

We have an official here who writes policy for the Dept of Education and its rather clear what her views are. Is that enough?

No....if singular viewpoints are all that's allowed or pushed then you aren't viewpoint neutral.

You can eliminate viewpoints and teach facts. That's viewpoint neutral.

I would even find it acceptable to teach from opposing viewpoints....given that it's done vigorously for each side.

But preventing a specific political viewpoint that lacks any criticism or critique or opposing viewpoints is just removing indoctrination.
I must have missed where this person’s comments were a factor in “Every school didn't spontaneously decide to push CRT and Queer Theory on children.”

Your sealioning is cute and sometimes effective.
Not this time though.

Right....you want a signed affidavit from every single school district saying that they are directly following administrative directives or its not enough evidence.

This is completely reasonable and not at all a coping mechanism that let's you ignore the fact that the media you consume lied to you.

Your sealioning is cute and sometimes effective.
Not this time though.

What's sealioning again?

I have a simple question. If the the teachers are coming with the rules and laws of the state, why would they need to cover up their books? Are they trying to hide something?

There's a point of denial where someone demands an unreasonable degree of evidence to satisfy their beliefs.

This effect has been noticed in courtrooms and curiously dubbed the CSI effect when it was learned that unlike TV, real life wouldn't have DNA evidence tying every criminal to every crime. Expectations were unreasonably high.

More importantly though, you can tell when they throw out any counter explanations for evidence....the beliefs they hold didn't require any evidence at all. The people claiming that "its a college level course so obviously it's not in grade school" or "they just want to portray a more accurate version of history" are simply repeating the same thing their sources say....100% free of any evidence at all. No number of teachers, administrators, or officials nor any amount of physical evidence will ever let them acknowledge they've been duped.

I wonder. Have they really been duped? Or could it be they know good and well it's in the schools and are just trying to dupe everyone else because they want the stuff in schools? It's obvious they think it's a good thing. Could it be that that if they convince enough people it's not there that they can get away with leaving it there?

And if it's not there why are teachers trying to hide their books?

Hello!?
The Florida Legislature and Governor decided to make teaching things that the State has not approved a FELONY!
Who could possibly be “okay” with criminalizing education!?

Hello, if the people of Florida don't want the CRT and LGBTQ indoctrination of children they have a right to outlaw it. Education has not been outlawed. CRT and LgBTQ indoctrination has been. Guess what, teachers can still teach math, English, literature, science, reading, history, and believe it or not, there is still sex ed!

So a lot of education is still going on. And a little less indoctrination.
