Christ rose on Easter Sunday and Matthew, Mark, Luke and John all four books you can find clearly teach that Christ rose the first day of the week, now the Gregorian calendar and the romish calendar have never had a mistake and always Sunday is the first day of the week but above that point God has preserved the Jews and they have never lost track of the seventh day Sabbath or what they call in Hebrew "Rosh Chodesh" which is the head of the month/the first day of each month which is called the new moon, traditionalism is why people attend Church on Sunday, so the true biblical day to attend church is Saturday.

God spoke six days, it was created and on the seventh day God say's remember the Sabbath and keep it Holy, it's God's Word.

It's up to you and which you feel convicted to attend. Also, go when your personal schedule allows. You may be working on one day or the other and have your choices limited.

It has been the Christian tradition from the beginning to gather for worship on Sunday, the Lord's Day. The matter was resolved a long time ago and there is no reason to re-visit it.

Hi and welcome to the forum!
It’s always best to follow God. We are told to obey God’s commandments Exodus 20:6, 1 John 5:3, 1 John 2:3-5, Matthew 5:17-30, James 2:10-12, John 14:15, Revelation 14:15, Revelation 12:17, Revelation 22:14

There is no commandment for Sunday-keeping, but their is for Sabbath keeping Exodus 20:8-11engraved by God’s own finger. Exodus 31:18 Jesus told us to keep the commandments of God over the traditions of man Matthew 15:3-9 We should always follow the Word of God over the word of man.

Jesus kept the Sabbath His whole life Luke 4:16 and even in death, and there is nothing in scripture where Jesus told us there was a change to one of His Fathers commandments, the Sabbath was changed around 300 years later and was predicted by scripture that it would be changed, but not by God. Daniel 7:25. The apostles decades later after Jesus rose still kept the Sabbath as they were commissioned by Jesus to follow what He commanded them. Acts of the Apostles 13:44, Acts of the Apostles 13:42, Acts of the Apostles 17:2, Acts of the Apostles 18:4. God promised the Sabbath would be an everlasting covenant which we see His promise fulfilled Exodus 31:16 for eternity Isaiah 66:23.

God bless.

It's up to you and which you feel convicted to attend.

Everyone worships God according to the dictates of their own conscience in telling them what God to serve - what book to consider holy/sacred, whether or not to affirm God's Commandments, what they will accept as being God's commandments -- etc.

In the case of Christians we always hope that the conscience is informed by the Word of God in making those decisions.

There by many who teach against the Sunday Resurrection. Below are three

The Resurrection of Jesus was on a Sabbath Morning

https://www.sabbath.org/index.cfm/fuseaction/Library.sr/CT/HWA/k/463/resurrection-not-sunday.htm

The Resurrection Was Not on Sunday

I attend church basically on a Sunday - that is what I was taught, but occasionally I go on the Sabbath. I believe Saturday is the true day of worship but I don't believe he would hold it against us worshiping him on a Sunday.
I personally believe he rose on the Sabbath. And I believe there first Churches knew this but changed the day incorporating the law of Constantine that all worship must be done on a Sunday and and be a day of rest. I believe there was Sol Rome worshiped on a Sunday

QUERY COLUMN: Pagan Sunday Observance

Sol | Roman god

Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy -don't forget it and sustain from unrighteousness. Of all the commandments there are two that began differently - this is one and the other is to honor your mother and father.

Constantine did not change the day of worship. That is a myth. Constantine ordered that all businesses and labor -with the exception of agriculture- cease on Sunday so that Christians could attend Church on the day they had always attended.

God made the 7th day holy, so it remains holy regardless of whether anything recognizes it as such, so the choice we have is whether we are going to treat it as being holy or whether we are going to profane it.

I just don't feel like it's my place to dictate what he should do. Obviously, I prefer Saturday, but if he feels differently, who am I to argue?

Have we not gone over this subject enough? The NT is not the OT and God's covenant with Christians is different. Read the epistle to the Colossians.

When another believer chooses to worship God is his business and nobody else's.

Does attending Church on a specific day of the Week affect our human nature to sin, does it help us to avoid sinning against God or not, when we are tempted to sin does attending Church on Saturday make us more able to resist the temptation than attending Church on Sunday would? God is more concerned about our faith and obedience in living our lives dependent on him to help us avoid sin than on following rules by ourselves. Chose any convenient day and attend Church. Most people are work free on Sundays so they attend church, but if you are busy, you can attend when you aren't busy. God bless
I think we should always obey God, especially if it is one of the commandments engraved by God’s own finger. Did God care about which tree Adam and Eve were to eat from? If God cared about a tree, He cares about His holy day. It shows that we trust Him that He knows what’s best for us. We place His will above ours.

God bless!

Rom 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
If you look at the context here its not referring to the seventh day Sabbath. God esteemeth the seventh day Sabbath above all other days because God says so. Genesis 2:1-3. Exodus 20:8-10. Isaiah 58:13 This verse is referring to days esteemed by man, not God. This verse in context is referring to festivals, not the seventh day Sabbath.

@SabbathBlessings, we are under a New Convenant. In this convenant, Christ has displaced the Law. Obeying the Spirit is what matters. Do whatever gives you peace of mind, God bless
Yes, we are under the new covenant, praise God and God wrote His laws in our hearts and minds in the New Covenant Hebrews 8:10. The Spirit is not at odds with God’s written Word. There is actually a warning we receive in scripture over this very thing. The Spirit will never lead you away from God’s written Word, thats not the spirit we should be following according to scripture:

Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

There is a battle going on with our souls. We are called to worship in Truth and Spirit. John 4:23-24. The fact still remains there is no commandment for Sunday-keeping, but there is for Sabbath-keeping engraved by God’s own finger and He said “Remember” Exodus 20:8-11 We all have to make a choice but even the disciples said we ought to obey God over man. I think if we start compromising what God says, its a dangerous path.

Jesus said: If you love Me, keep My commandments. John 14:15.
John defines love to God: For this is the love of God that we keep His commandments 1 John 5:3
God said right in His Ten Commandments: showing mercy to thousands who love Me and keep My commandments Exodus 20:6

The Ten Commandments came in a unit of Ten Exodus 34:28, engraved by the finger of God Exodus 31:18 kept in the ark of the covenant in the Most Holy of God’s Temple which is revealed in heaven Revelation 11:19. God’s will for us in heaven is the same for us on this earth. Matthew 6:10

Which is why in the New Heaven and New Earth we will still worship the Lord from one Sabbath to another Isaiah 66:22-23 because it is the holy day of the Lord thy God. Exodus 20:10, Isaiah 58:13

Christ has fulfilled the law. If you find peace in attending Church on Saturdays, do. Let the peace that Christ gives, guide you in making decisions. Why are you seeking advice if you don't need it? i'm confused. God bless

Are you saying we can worship other gods, or covet, steal etc. I don’t see this as something we are shown we can do freely in the new covenant or break any of God’s commandments. One of the last scriptures before the Revelation of Jesus Christ says blessed are those who do His commandments Revelation 22:14.

When Jesus fulfilled the law in means fill full. For example when one is married and they fulfill their wedding covenant- does that means they are faithful or committing adultery?
