Also, in the name of a clear roadmap, be aware not all continuing Anglican churches are breakaways from The Episcopal Church. The ACNA congregation in my area was formerly a Vineyard Church and looks more Vineyard like than Anglican to me, such that I could never be comfortable there.
The ACNA is not a Continuing Anglican church. The definition excludes ACNA and for good reason. The ACNA is an Anglican church that separated from TEC, but at a completely different time and for completely different reasons from those which called the "Continuers" into action thirty years prior and gave the movement that name (Continuing). It doesn't just mean coming later than TEC or branching off from her, etc.
But as it turns out, your comment about a Vineyard church turning into an Anglican church is appropriate, though. This sort of thing, and the recruitment of clergy from non-liturgical churches, is something that is not uncommon in ACNA.
