A crystal is not as complicated as DNA
Dont forget, the more you know about
something the less faith you need.
Of course a crystal is less complex.
Its simply given as an example of order emerging from random.
You agee it happens, no faith needed- correct?

Now how about a river system? Random raindrops
full of randomly moving molecules fall as they may.
Tha Amazon river is immensely complex.

The more you know about something the less faith you need. I'm finding that that is not the case.

Oh? For example?
Not ever?
It sure works for me.

After seeing how our driver handles a car,
I am so relaxed and confident he will get us
where we are going safely and on time.
Thats not faith, thats confidence from experience.

Well I'm new to all this and it's been interesting but I don't know that there is much value in simply arguing in the hopes that someone ranks you as winner so I'm looking for other discussions. I will probably still be tempted to reply to the various comments that pop up when I can get to them but I have a job and a life and this is only an interesting distraction for me.

Or world history.
For this to work, creationism would need to offer detailed factual information about the first unification of China. Plus the migrations of the proto Aztec. And the civilizations that became the Inca.
As it is, creationism cannot even agree that there was a transition from the bronze age, to the iron age. Let alone when it was.

That's your opinion. It's theology

Bad theology, any way you slice it.

That's my opinion, of course -- but one that can be supported with facts and reason.

Funny thing about history -- you always need to pay attention to who's writing it. You never know when things such as mythology or propaganda get mixed into it...

I don't think she knows what a true fundamentalist is.

I kinda think she has me on IGNORE because she thinks I lead the way in derailing threads, and she must be jealous.

Either that, or she knows I'd take her to task on what a real fundamentalist is.

But for the record, she throws that term "fundamentalist" around like some throw the term "Protestant" around.

If they think Hitler was a Christian; don't take it too personally if they think you're a fundamentalist.
The fact that Adolf Hitler was baptized, and confirmed. And he never renounced his faith... should be the first clue.
