A Seattle museum is hosting a summer camp for kids as young as 12-years-old that encourages them to find their "drag personas."

The event, titled "Drag-tastic Summer Camp: The Art of Drag," is being offered by the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle, Washington, and states that individuals ages 12 to 18 years old can attend.

Oh no, not performing arts! They might go into show business and then stop believing in Jesus for some reason instead of...that not happening with probably dozens of named actors like Kirk Cameron, Kevin Sorbo, Melissa Joan Hart, etc.

This is a voluntary program. It’s not in schools. Parents would have to consent. It’s part of a community living in freedom. Just like churches can run youth events claiming that God rejects gays.

So, you mean like special tax breaks unavailable to anyone else, running summer camps, schools and weekly instruction for children, all unregulated and tax free, going door to door, writing legislation, picking judges... stuff like that?

Pffft. Drag was an essential part of summer camp when I was a kid. We were divided into groups for the week and had various themed nights where each group would have a "princess" for that theme. At least 2/3rds of the "princesses" would be boys. It was constant, it'd go in the other direction for anything that would be for a male role.

I wore more makeup at summer camp than any other time in my life.
