Money, then. Not exactly an inspiring message.
Interesting.

You see money, I see our national motto.

Which, by the way, I submit as cause-and-effect evidence for God.

But to each his own.

This is a major reason I'm always asking: "Would you know the difference, if you saw it?"

How else are you going to get people to notice except by printing it on money? You know, the true object of worship in this country...

Which, by the way, I submit as cause-and-effect evidence for God.

I don't recall asking.

This is a major reason I'm always asking: "Would you know the difference, if you saw it?"

Seemed more like a vain attempt in your part to sound profound...

...which is then immediately followed up with a meaningless "Thanks for the QED" in lieu of any substance.

Oh ... maybe teach it in school?

But the NEA cowards fear reprisal from the academic non-believers, so they cave.

Then they wonder why we vote NO on their school levies.

Why is it surprising to see evil pretending to be good? At the end of the day, are they not only doing it to gain people's trust? And for what else than to deceive?

That is a narrative... certainly one you haven't supported with anyone more than baseless accusations.

Watch out AV, from FullMoons interpretations your belief in Satanic things like planets or space flight probably make you almost as much an atheist as the rest of us.

Yeah, but the "God" in question usually turns out to be the fundamentalist Evangelical God. Quite a few believers don't want that either.

Tres amusant, the fundys who make the
US constitution virtually a new chapter in the
bible, but suddenly not so much when it comes to
the establishment clause.

Might have something to do with that pesky First Amendment...

But if you insist...

نثق في الله,
...which is pronounced "nathiq fi allah," if you want your students to do it right.

No... They understand the strings attached -- who would expect true altruism from Conservative American Christians?

Thanks for the QED. Money, not truth, is your only tool.

You mean the One True God?

You are a monotheist, are you not?

That's tough.

It happens to be our nation's motto.

If they don't want it on their money, I'll be glad to take it for them.

You mean the One True God?
In your opinion. It's not the God, as such, but the doctrine that goes with it. Especially now that the Gospel according to Tucker Carlson has been added to the Canon of those Real True Christian Patriots who think they can define that God for the rest of us. No thanks.

It happens to be our nation's motto.
In a weak moment. E Pluribus Unum was better, the one adopted by the so-called Christian founders of our so-called Christian nation.

Tell me this, chief.

I realize you have a hard time being able to differentiate the legitimate from the illegitimate when it comes to theology.

Asking you if you'd know the difference between A and B if you saw, heard, read, smelled, tasted, or felt it is getting old.

But can you answer this?

If you don't know what GOD is being depicted on our coins, do you at least know what GOD is being depicted in the Canadian national anthem?

Specifically the line:

God keep our land glorious and free!

That is correct. No, no, and no.
Some of these things can be seen on home ground based telescopes.

I've seen Jupiter and its moons through a conventional telescope with my own eyes.

Well, there's just so much illegitimate, it's sometimes hard to find the legitimate needle in the haystack.

Asking you if you'd know the difference between A and B if you saw, heard, read, smelled, tasted, or felt it is getting old.

Proving even a one-trick pony can get bored.

But can you answer this?

If you don't know what GOD is being depicted on our coins,

Your premise is invalid because I do indeed know which god is depicted on our money -- the God of Capitalism, of course.

After all, who doesn't know that the motto was officially adopted in 1956, at the height of the Red Scare?

Communism, of course, being seen as an existential threat to Capitalism, and thus, America -- a person would have to be a real rube to fall for such transparent propaganda.

do you at least know what GOD is being depicted in the Canadian national anthem?

Normally, I'd tell you to ask someone who cares, but out of respect to our Canadian bretheren (lest they think I'm a complete hoser, eh?), I'll say that as Canada was still considered a British colony at the time the anthem was written (1880, not that you know or care), it would be the same god they would have said when they said "God Save the King." (The king at the time being Edward VII, again, not that you'd know or care)

of course, we the people of the United States told that god (and the different King -- George III -- he was expected to "save") to take a hike all the way back in 1776... the God of Capitalism has been the object of American worship ever since.
