Deuteronomy 18:20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
So no place that exists then. Got it.

Like when He broke Pangaea up into five continents in Peleg's time?
Lol! No. Pangea started breaking up about 230 million years ago:

By Kious, Jacquelyne; Tilling, Robert I.; Kiger, Martha, Russel, Jane - This Dynamic Earth: The Story of Plate Tectonics. (Online ed.). Reston, Virgina, USA: United States Geological Survey. ISBN 0-16-048220-8.

Homo sapiens are around 300,000 years old, and the earliest archaic humans were no more than a million years ago.

I'd say some water got pushed around here and there.

According to classroom cliché though, the earth should have been boiled away.

As Twain said, "don't let schooling interfere with your education."

Was that before or after he defined faith as: "Believing something you know ain't so"?

That's an affront to God's martyrs.

I never took Twain serious, especially anything beyond his secular anecdotes.

I'm no geologist, but there would probably have been intermittent floods and earthquakes, as there are today. But the breakup and motion of the plates was over geological timescales, i.e. extremely slow by human standards - perhaps a few inches per year, so I expect there would have been long periods of relative calm.

The geologists here are welcome to correct me if I'm wrong...

Just in case you did not know, this is a YEC belief. And you wonder why others accuse you of being a YEC.
I heard YECs believe -- as do I -- that Jesus walked on water.

Does that make me a YEC ... or does it make them an Embedded Ager?

Why would anyone want to be an embedded ager?

It saves time.

Adam, for example, was given a home, a job, and a wife, and told to have children.

God didn't create Adam a day old, then wait twenty or thirty years for him to grow up.

He created Adam mature, but without a history.

God created the Garden of Eden, not the Blue Lagoon.

Once again you fail. Yes. you agree with YEC's on some things. Tell us why you think that you are not a YEC. And remember, cherry picking is a logical fallacy. An "embedded ager" is a YEC as well. One that believes that God tries to mislead people. Why would you claim that God is dishonest? That makes no sense to me at all.

It saves time.

So does suicide, but it's still generally frowned upon.

So what does this tell us about God except that patience is not a virtue of His?
