I believe that like 60% of Genesis isn't literal like the 7 days arent literal for creation and a universal flood didn't happen but at a specific place which all creation was present at. I also believe that Adam and Eve were infact humans but they weren't flat out homosapiens right of the back they probably was one of the evolve creatures in Richard Dawkins theory(Not saying they wasnt but the possibility of that is almost 0-1) I just dont believe Adam and eve were like us in anyway when they first was created because fossils ¨prove¨ we evolved but I not saying evolution is true just saying its a possibility of the sort but I do believe the genealogy thats a fact people may respond if they disagree but I myself just dont see Genesis as Literal.

Guess you have your very own unique Bible then. And, a very fantastical view of God's creation.

What you believe or don't believe doesn't alter the Word of God one little bit....
People have hammered away at Gods Word for centuries ....those people are dead and gone ...Gods Word still stands

hominoids are, now I aint a full blown evolutionist but like think about it does it really make sense that Adam and Eve had similar traits to us even though they were the first ever humans to exist?

Ok you do not believe Genesis,
Heavy, Heavy stretch of my words I am just understand science with the bible to an extent to where we can answer mild objections to the creation story, Also, I dont believe theistic evolution I find that view horrendous.
well this may be news to you but you are not the first to hold this view.
Not really most theistic evolutionist holds time and reality with the days of creation while I have a mathematical view on the days which I also view in a way with the 7 days.

This is interesting. Can you elaborate on your mathematical view?

Sounds like you trust what men tell you over what scripture tells you.

At what point do you start taking it literal, and what in the language indicates to you the switch from one type to the other?

There was no Original Sin, if Genesis was not literal.
Never said the entirety of Genesis wasn't real also we dont bare guilt of sin we only bare consequence original sin is an heresy in my church. But I understand wym.

Basically I multiply a million than divide it with 1 than subtract it with P and W it should have a reconcilable answer in my eyes also I dont affirm that earth can just be a billion years old because science says so gotta be proven.

Absolutely not!!!!!! Believing Adam and Eve didn't have similar traits to us isn't doing such a thing the Bible doesn't even say that they do we shouldn't accept a view without the bible explicitly saying that.

I dont hold that Genesis is Figurative(I dont affirm Theistic Evolution), I believe all the same as you just I dont Interpret it in a Literalist view. I start taking it literal in a way others do is when it is scientifically and philosophically consistent with proven theories. I dont affirm scientific theories that arent proven such as richard dawkins theory

...we dont bare guilt of sin we only bare consequence...
Before we receive Jesus, we live according to the lusts of our innate, sin natures.

sinful nature is what the Orthodox Church affirms ancestral sin is what we affirm not Original Sin as thats a western view that we bare the guilt and consequence of original sin which is contradictory to Deuteronomy when it says we literally dont bare the guilt of our Father sins.
