Jesus told us the Sabbath was made for man, which takes us back to the Garden of Eden when God made man on the six day and the very next day was God’s Sabbath. God worked six days and rested on the seventh day not because God needed rest, it was an example for man.

You need to be extra careful when making statements about commandments in the Old Testament. There is no commandment in Genesis given to mankind to obey the Sabbath. To infer that mankind had a commandment to obey the Sabbath from Eden. Is a dangerous claim to make and one that the evidence does not support.

Here are two examples of direct commandments given to mankind in Genesis.

Genesis 6:22
Thus Noah did; according to all that God had commanded him, so he did.

Genesis 21:4
Then Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him.

We do not see a command to obey the Sabbath until Exodus. Silence regarding this Sabbath commandment in Genesis is the default position.

I’m sorry you feel these verses are random, they really explain that if you are one in Christ there is no Jew or Gentile. You are going to miss so much in scripture if you don’t understand these easy to read scriptures. Your whole objection is that you are a gentile and not a Jew, these scriptures directly address this objection. It’s a good thing, God’s people are those who believe and follow the Word and not a nationality.

Moses was commanded to go to Pharaoh and take certain actions.
I wasn't commanded to do those things. Anything in the Bible which is given to a certain person or people belongs to whom it is given not everyone who reads the Bible. If I am wrong God will correct me not anonymous people on forums like this.

I’m sorry I can’t help you. The scriptures are there and pretty easy to read and understand. I would not want to write myself out of the New Covenant or promises, written in scripture to Jews, but we are told if we are of Christ there is no Jew or Gentile we are Spiritual Jews.

Here in Matt 24:20-30 Jesus speaks of the Sabbath being kept up to His Second coming.
How do we know? By His use of the words For, And, Then, For, Behold, Wherefore, and For. All of which connect what is about to be said to what was previously said.
Then in verse 29 Jesus says, Immediately after the tribulation of those days..."
What days?
The days Jesus just spoke about and said for us to pray that our flight not be in the winter nor on the Sabbath Day. Which would be the destruction of the Temple and the sign of His coming.

Matt 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Matt 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Matt 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

I was only trying to see how you understand the scriptures I provided before answering. Do you know the answer to my question to you? You need to quote the commandment in Genesis that directs mankind to obey the Sabbath commandment. I have quoted two verses that specify the commandments given to mankind in Genesis.

In Exodus the Sabbath commandment was given to Israel and the penalty was also given.

Absolutely. What a blessing many miss out on by rejecting Gods' Word in order to follow man-made teachings and traditions that break the commandments of God. Jesus of course letting us know in Matthew 15:2-9 that by doing this we are not worshiping God. This alone in my view should give us something to pray about if we seriously want to love God and want to follow him. Hope you and your family had a great Sabbath in God's rest and love. God blesses us in His Word. I truly do love Gods' Word which is a lamp to our feet and a light unto the path that is dark and narrow. This is the only place to find Jesus and to know him who loves us with his whole life. We now love him because he first loved us.

Do you not understand why this is a patently false statement? Non-Sabbatarians have a Sabbath rest and communion time with our Savior on the day that our Savior resurrected. I can remember a time that virtually all businesses were closed on Sunday. In the 40s my hometown had 4 drug stores only one could be open on Sunday so people could get their prescriptions.

Jesus and everyone in Israel had to obey the law.

No Gentile nation received the law, hence, no Gentile nation enforced a Sabbath commandment.

History does not mention a Sabbath commandment in the laws of any nation, except the nation of Israel.

Scripture is clear that only Israel was given the law, the land, the temple, priesthood, e.t.c.

You have no evidence to support your wild claims.
