Exactly. When I was 14 about 6 decades ago I was fostered in a SDA family for a few months when both of my parents were hospitalized. The only thing I saw was very strict Sabbath observance. Never heard about any other OT law.

Why do you think Jesus is at odds with His Fathers commandments? Jesus came to do the will of God and to magnify His Fathers laws. Isaiah 42:21, Matthew 5:17-30, Matthew 19:17-19. Magnify does not mean to lessen, it means make greater.

God wrote His laws in our hearts in the New Covenant which of course include the Sabbath commandment. We see the Sabbath still a commandment in the New Testament Luke 23:56 this was after Jesus died. If you were really honest does it make sense that we would worship our Lord and Savior on a different day than the holy day of our Lord and Savior? It does not, which is why Jesus who we are told is our EXAMPLE went to the Temple on the Sabbath days reading the Word of God Luke 4:16 as did all the disciples. Acts 13:42, Acts 13:44 you really should read the New Testament again because Jesus teaches all about the Sabbath and it’s mentioned more than once that the Sabbath is part of the law. Jesus was accused of breaking the Sabbath law, which would be weird if there was not a Sabbath commandment. Jesus told us the Sabbath was made for man, which takes us back to the Garden of Eden when God made man on the six day and the very next day was God’s Sabbath. God worked six days and rested on the seventh day not because God needed rest, it was an example for man.

Albeit what follows does show some hesitancy towards the idea that Gentiles can worship on another day of the week to serve Jesus.

First off is the understanding of Romans 9:6-8. Israel is not Isaac, nor is Abraham. Their seed is being contrasted with Isaac. Paul is making an appeal that the NC is based on Isaac and not Israel at Sinai. This does not explain the first half of the claim, "the new covenant was only ever made to Israel". What it does do however, is put Israel's theological role as secondary to that of Isaac. Theologically speaking Isaac is pointing to the child of promise, who is Jesus and was even before Abraham. In regards to Jeremiah 31:31-34 , he's concerned with the Jews not Gentiles. Given their circumstances this doesn't mean the NC is only ever made to Israel as Jesus said, "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto myself." John 12:32

No. Please read the post you are quoting from in post # 253 linked. That is not my position at all. Your making arguments no one is arguing about. Therefore your argument is only with yourself here. In Romans 9:6-8 Paul is saying that just because you are born of the seed of Abraham does not make one Israel, they are not all Israel that are of Israel. Just because your physically born of the seed of Abraham does not make one truly Israel just as one is born a Jew does not make him a Jew, just as one that has been circumcised does not make one circumcised. A Jew is one inwardly and circumcision is not of the flesh but of the heart through the Spirit. The scriptures do not really need much words added to them perhaps you can prayerfully read them...

You do know that the Galatians are gentile believers right and Paul is saying to them all are one in Christ and if you are in Christ then you are Abraham's seed as God's promise was to Abraham who is the father of Israel right? The three scriptures here show that under the new covenant scriptures that God's true ISRAEL in the new covenant is no longer those born of the flesh of the seed of Abraham but all those who through faith are born of the Spirit into Gods' new covenant promise *Hebrews 8:10-12; from Jeremiah 31:31-34; Ezekiel 36:24-27.

Gods' true Israel in the new covenant is now simply all those who have been born of the Spirit into God's new covenant promise through faith. Gentile believers have now been grafted in *Romans 11:13-27. If you are not a part of Gods' Israel you have no part in Gods' new covenant promise which is only to Israel. God did not make a covenant with gentiles and Israel is only a name given by God to all those who believe and follow Gods' Word.

According to the scriptures, gentiles are not commanded to follow Gods' Word. Only Gods' people are who God calls Israel who in the new covenant are now all those who have been born of the Spirit to believe and follow what God's Word says. If we are not a part of God's Israel in the new covenant we have no part in Gods' new covenant promise which is to Israel. God's Israel are no longer only those born of the flesh of the seed of Abraham, but are now all those who through faith have been born of the Spirit to believe and follow what Gods' Word says (scriptures).

God did not make his new covenant promise with Gentiles *Hebrews 8:10-12; from Jeremiah 31:31-34 and Ezekiel 36:24-27. If you are not a part of God's Israel you have no part in God's new covenant promise. THEREFORE according to the scriptures it remains for the people of God to keep the Sabbath *Hebrews 4:9. There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says Gods' 4th commandment has now been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a holy day of rest. This is a man-made teaching and tradition that has led many away from God and His Word to break the commandments of God. According to Jesus if we knowingly follow man-made teachings and traditions that lead us to break the commandments of God we are now worshiping God in Matthew 15:2-9. This begs the question I have been asking a lot. If we follow man-made teachings and traditions that are leading us away from God and His Word who are we following; God or man?

Who did God write the New Covenant with? I would not recommend writing yourself out of the New Covenant and the promises of God. What don’t you believe about Galatians 3:28, Romans 9:6-8, Romans 2:28-29?

I’m sorry you feel these verses are random, they really explain that if you are one in Christ there is no Jew or Gentile. You are going to miss so much in scripture if you don’t understand these easy to read scriptures. Your whole objection is that you are a gentile and not a Jew, these scriptures directly address this objection. It’s a good thing, God’s people are those who believe and follow the Word and not a nationality.
