CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Charlie Chaplin was rolling in his grave when this film was made.. sadly the writers would have probably actually used his corpse for the film if they could.

I do have good memories of watching this film as a kid. Used to re-watch the VHS tape constantly. Surprised my parents even let me watch it. My father was very against any type of content that seemed to get gratification in other people's deaths.
Sadly as an adult this film just hasn't aged very well. Especially compared to the first one. Although this movie is a masterpiece compared to the Jurassic trash that came afterwards. Haven't even had the stomach to watch the latest one.. what made the first one scary is that the dinosaurs acted more like animals, and in the subsequent films they became more and more cartoony with their actions.
I don't know.. it's such an interesting concept.. I do feel they could have squeezed a few more quality films after the first one. Oh well.
