I think that one can appreciate a woman's beauty, even have an attraction without being lustful. It's not just what you were it's how you wear it too. The way a person walks can attract different kinds of attention but even then, it's up to the man to not look with lustful eyes but with eyes like a father or brother.

Lust is a heart issue. A previous connection shared a picture of himself years ago. He's 6 feet, long and lean, and incredibly handsome. All my friends saw the image. We acknowledged his attractiveness. But we weren't lusting over him.

He has more women throwing themselves in his path than anyone I've known. But he owns his behavior. Fifteen years have passed and he's never blamed them. If he's lusting that's on him. If he's sins that's his choice. And he's an atheist!

A lot of people speaking on this subject aren't like my friend. They don't have women falling at their feet. They barely get a look. There's no reason to fantasize if you can get her. Fantasy is for people who can't.

As @Occams Barber noted, an alternative exists. It may not end as you'd hope. As the video shows. You can only push a person so far before they snap. Let's find a middle ground.

I would suggest that the lust was in those men before they saw the woman whose dress they blamed. They need to mature and live in reality where seeing someone as attractive is not a temptation but simply part of the beauty of this world and of the next. Adam fell not because of Eve but because he wanted what she had been given just as she wanted what the serpent offered. Booth got what they wanted. So if seeing an attractive woman leads you to sin it is because you wanted that sin.

Does how you dress honor God? Does how you dress cause men to stumble and lust? I pray this message will awaken some of you ladies consciences to the errors in your dress that is causing some of the little ones of the Lord to stumble.

So, myself being a guy, I have to say this: There is clothing that does make lusting after women easier, but dressing modestly is not enough to stop a normal guy from it. We're that good at it, and there are blind guys who struggle greatly with lust. So, do practice modesty, but don't burden yourselves and burn yourselves out.

You're a dear sister. Some would have you place their sin upon their shoulders as if it were you own. Many men grappling with this issue rest on the fringe. They aren't the ideal or desired by most. She would never consider him. He covets her for that reason.

In all seriousness, while this isn't a problem, I consider susceptibility when vetting suitors given my work. Men who struggle with lust, addictions, greed, and related challenges are wholly off-limits. I don't want to contribute to anyone stumbling. Not even indirectly.

Oh, definitely.

Seems very convenient for married people staying at home, not doing anything.

Self-control isn't a struggle for all. I know more than a few who've mastered it. Weakness can't be hidden. It rears its head eventually.

I have no problem with a man acknowledging his struggles with lust. But I can't sanction someone throwing women under the bus who rarely warrants a look from the opposite sex and spends his moments viewing porn and inappropriate fodder. That isn't her fault.
