CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I took an anatomy class in college. My college had a large contingent of dance students and a bunch happened to sign up for the anatomy class that I signed up for. It's common. Dancers want to know what part of their bodies they've injured. So in this class, it was 13 dancers... and me. I have GOT to pay attention!
Anyway, the teacher at one point asked this very question. Is astrology a science? 13 yes votes. And me. It was an interesting semester.

On the contrary, good excuse for taking the day off when they want one, just go to dancersign.com. It is just alternative medicine that hasn't been investigated sufficiently due to bias of the pharmaceutical hegemony.

I dont buy it, as it seems there's loads of money to be made off astrology, and I expect big pharma to jump all over it any day now.

Well, I don't know about you guys but as soon as I check in on this thread, all the ads on the forum page switch to promos for astrology readings. Someone's making a motza out of it.
What prompts all the ads for testosterone I have yet to determine.

haven't seen that yet, but I have always been intrigued by the number of ads for big breasted Christian women dating sites. That and save your marriage or lately for a gay movie channel.

What someone might think of me if they saw the ads I could only guess. A lonely guy in need of some hair treatment who doesn't know what the future holds and needs some chemical help in...um...maintaining an interest in women.
