WHY IS UNIVERSALISM NOT BIBLICAL?

What is true within the teachings of Universalism is that there is no such thing as the Roman Catholic doctrine of eternal burning Hell. Very simply though the reason why Universalism is a false teaching is that the bible tells us so because there is no more second chances for the wicked at the second coming. For example...

There is no second chances for the unrepentant wicked at the second coming as the scriptures teach us in Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Universalism is a man-made teaching that makes a mockery of the cross and Gods' justice and judgement for sin and is a false teaching designed to lead all those who follow it away from God and His Word.

The false teachings of Universalism are simply the same lies given to mankind in Genesis 3:1-5 that we can disobey God and no surely die. This is the same lie given to Eve simply re marketed under the name of "Universal Reconciliation" which teaches the same lies that we can disobey Gods Word and not surely die.

What meaning can be attached to the words "burned up" if not utter consumption or destruction? It is almost unbelievable that men can read these statements, that He (God) will make an utter end and they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry," and clear finite usage of terms like 'destruction', 'death', 'destroy', 'cut off', 'burn up' and 'be no more' and still believe in a literal, endless hell or the wicked will still be living being prepared for everlasting life (Universalism).

Note the above in context and those scriptures highlighted in red? Now the context here is the UNREPENTANT WICKED. Those who have turned away from Gods Word when they have been given a knowledge of the truth in order to live a life on known unrepentant sin.

PAUL states in v27 that those who continue in known UNREPENTANT SIN will receive the JUDGEMENTS OF GOD and that those who continue in known UNREPENTANT SIN are GOD'S ADVERSARIES and that these ADVERSARIES (ENEMIES OF GOD) who reject His Word will receive the judgement of FIERY INDIGNATION AND WRATH which will DEVOUR them.

Note the two resurrections one is the resurrection of life which is to Gods peoples and the 2nd resurrection is the resurrection of the wicked to condemnation. Judgement has already been pronounced it is a resurrection of condemnation those in it have been found guilty and are awaiting the penalty given which is death and demnation and the wrath of God stays on them

At the second coming the unrepentant wicked are destroyed by the brightness of his coming and the dead in Christ who are found in the lambs book of life are resurrected in the first resurrection which is the resurrection of life and are free from the second death and enter into life to reign with Christ 1000 years. At the end of the 1000 years there is a second resurrection where all the unrepentant wicked are resurrected to damnation and condemnation (JOHN 5:29).

What you said is obviously true but it ignores the feelings of human beings who are created according to God's image and who will be damned.

When God told Abraham about destroying Sodom, the latter had feelings for human beings and started to bargain with God: what if there were 10 good people, 5 good people?

So, what if some non-Christians had 10% goodness, 5% goodness?

Perhaps for some Christians, even if non-Christians had 90% goodness they deserve to be destroyed bec they did not believe in Christ.

There is no second chances for the unrepentant wicked at the second coming as the scriptures teach us in Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Universalism is a man-made teaching that makes a mockery of the cross and Gods' justice and judgement for sin and is a false teaching designed to lead all those who follow it away from God and His Word.

Yes, they are scripture. It seems to me you want to argue for eternal conscious torment or for annihilation (I can't tell which), and of course heaven for the righteous/saved. But conceptions like that don't develop until the intertestamental period, so Jesus and the Pharisees had a very different conception of the afterlife than the ancient Israelites. The Sadducees were probably closer to the ancient conception, which was that everyone went to the same place, Sheol. It's somewhat anachronistic to argue for a conception of the afterlife from passages that predate the conception, I think. But, if you want to argue everyone goes to the same place, Sheol has been there all along, lol.
