I see what you are saying. But,in a way, that is the real problem when there is a discussion about race.People get defensive when their respective colors are referred to negatively and take it as a very personal affront when it is not meant that way. We need to try to understand each other and assess where each other is coming from. Where are we alike? How would you feel if the shoe was on the other foot? Walk a mile in each other's shoes.Honestly I don’t know, usually these kinds of statements are made in a stereotypical blanket. I mean when a person says “white people do this or that” that includes me. I think people often tend to forget all the white people that died in the Underground Railroad and those who fought and died to free the slaves in the Union Army. I feel like in most cases white people today are grouped together with the wealthy plantation owners as if anyone alive today had anything to do with that era.
Almost everyone felt outrage when George Floyd was murdered.But some felt the cop was right to kill him. That is where the problem was.`
