How to live Holy

If you want to stop living a defeated Christian life, (sinning and confessing).... then the only way to do it, is by existing in the "renewed mind.".
This is simply to always see yourself as God sees you at all times as "in Christ".

Reader.....There are only 2 minds available to the believer. There is the carnal "natural" mind of "the flesh", and the Mind of Christ, which is the "renewed" mind.

One is walking in the flesh, and One is Walking in the Spirit.

All Spiritual victory and all spiritual defeat occur in the Mind of Faith and are played out in LIFE as your Lifestyle.

A Holy Lifestyle is created only by having the Mind that is "renewed".
When your mind of faith is wrong, then you live wrong, and you sin and confess.
When your mind of faith is the "renewed mind", then you exist as : "Christ always gives me the victory".
"Victory" is the life of perfected holiness or perfected discipleship.
Paul explains this as , "as many as be perfect", or "to become the fullness of the Stature of Christ"....on earth.

Reader....You can't stop completely sinning (works of the flesh) by will-power, . = or didn't you notice this yet, this last 2-50 yrs?

You can't stop sinning by striving to not sin, by gritting your teeth, or by praying about it, or by standing in a Prayer line hoping to be delivered by someone else's faith.
Forget it, its not going to happen.

The way you stop committing works of the Flesh (sin to you) is to access what allows you to stop, and that is by existing IN the "renewed mind".
There is no other way.

Lets get some basic Theology together...

1. There are 2 dominions in play, during the "time of the Gentiles"

a.) The dominion of the Law

b.) The dominion of Grace.

You are currently under one of them.

You will recall that Jesus was sweating great drops of blood in the Garden of Gethsemane prior to the Cross. Do you recall this Chapter?
Why was that?
Why was Jesus sweating blood ??? Its because the God-man was striving to "fulfill the law" with His Amazing Will, and trying to complete God's will, also.
And why was Jesus doing all that? Its because at the Time, Christ was under the dominion of the LAW.
He was a man under the Law.

So, Jesus literally had to keep from sinning based on His own WILL and Human Power....mentally... and do you see the cost of that effort? He was popping blood vessels in his FACE from the STRAIN of that WILL POWER..... because this is what was required by "THE dominion of the Law". He had to fulfill the OT law by living a sinless life UNDER THE Law, = to deliver US from the "curse of the Law... so that the born again now exist as... "you are not under the law, you are under Grace".

So, think....If God as Christ was dripping blood, if the God man was dripping blood from His Face, from the EFFORT it took to keep that LAW.....do you actually think you have a chance to not sin by your own SELF EFFORT, when God as a Man was popping blood vessels to keep from sinning?
It cant be done. It can't be done....It cant be done......IT CAN'T BE DONE, unless you are the God-Man....and you are NOT.

So, GOD created GRACE, using Jesus's Blood and death on the CROSS, that is proven to be TRUE because Jesus is ALIVE !!. And this became "The Gift of Righteousness".. And it has to be given to you, because you can't be righteous of yourself. So, God has to give you His own Righteousness as a GIFT, to make you Righteous and keep you Righteous.

Now.. the 2nd Dominion during the "time of the Gentiles" is Grace.
This dominion replaced the dominion of the LAW, if you are born again.

If you are born again you are UNDER the Authority and Dominion, of GRACE.
GRACE is now your LAW. And that Law is...>"you have ETERNAL PEACE with God, because you are Justified by the Blood of Jesus", which is THE one time "eternal sacrifice".

So, if all that is true then why do Christian fail to live holy at all times when so many earnestly want to do this more than anything else, and can't ????

Its because, when you try by self effort to live Holy, you are putting yourself back under the LAW that Jesus was under that pops blood vessels In God's face trying to do it. And you are not trying that hard, Saint, so you are nowhere close to living Holy by your WILL POWER. And you will never be able to do it, in your own power because "the power of SIN is the Law".
The Law empowers your flesh to want to sin more, when you try to keep the law.
See that "CURSE" ??

What is the SOLUTION????.....
You are to stop putting yourself under the LAW..... as "the power of sin is the LAW".
The Law, inflames your passions and keeps you sin conscious, which all working together causes you to think about sinning and then you resist and then that power of the Law empowers your desire to sin more. So, that is why you can't stop sinning (works of the flesh). = This is the CURSE OF THE LAW that Jesus died to free you from...."""Jesus has redeemed us from the CURSE of the Law""" = being made free by Jesus's BLOOD.
Galatians 3:13

What is the Final Solution.
You are to stop STRIVING and RESISTING SIN by your self effort, and instead come into the RENEWED MIND that understands and believes that you have eternal PEACE with God based on the Blood Atonement.
You are to come into this understanding and REAL FAITH. And when you do get this revelation...You then begin walking under the dominion of Grace where the Power of Christ...>"Always gives me the Victory".
See it?

So you are to REST within the knowledge, the REAL FAITH.... that your PEACE with God is eternally kept by the blood of Jesus, when means you are eternally at PEACE with God, no matter what.
See, the Blood Atonement not only gives you God's righteousness, it also and always keeps GOD at peace with you, forever.. And believing this....Is REAL FAITH ..and resting in this place of GRACE in your MIND....this REAL FAITH......is how you walk in the Spirit and keep the Mind of Christ.
There is your holy walk empowered and maintained as : "Christ always GIVES me the VICTORY". as Paul teaches.

When you have this "renewed" mind, then the Power of Christ will empower you to walk in the Light, which is, to walk in the Grace of God, which delivers you from sinning and sustains you in VICTORY over sin and the World..

Paul says.. """"But thanks be to God, which giveth us the VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ.""

See that VICTORY?
That is perfected Christian Discipleship that does not slip, does not fall, and does not fail..... And its entirely empowered by being in the RIGHT Mind that exists to BELIEVE that your peace with God is always and forever kept and maintained by the Blood of Jesus..... which, can't be changed.... And you REST in this mind...YOU REST IN THIS MIND......completely.
And once you get there....once you believe this and begin to FAITH EXIST there, then you have stopped walking in the flesh, (under the Law)_ and started walking in the Spirit.
This is to live under the (Dominion of Grace) and by LIVING THERE IN YOUR MIND you will find you are empowered by Christ to live a Holy Lifestyle. = "VICTORY".

Jesus said..."apart from me you can do nothing".....and that means...."apart from me you have no power of your own that can equip you to live HOLY"..

The renewed mind of REAL FAITH, Produces Right living.

Wrong FAITH< wrong believing, the wrong MIND....= produces the sinning and confessing issue.

People who are sinning and confessing, have the idea that this is what you do, so that their fellowship with God, isn't harmed.
So, when you believe that, then you are involved with a (legalistic) mental stronghold that does not allow you to rest in God's Grace.
And that is why the sinning and confessing issue, does not stop.
To stop that issue, is to come into agreement with being "made righteous", as "the Gift of Salvation".
Its to exist in THAT MIND, that Theology, and that Belief System, which is the renewed mind as REAL FAITH.
Until this happens, the person is trapped within their religiosity, that is their legalism, and they are "fallen from Grace", with no Spiritual power being yielded to them...... which is the reason they can't stop sinning and confessing.

See, the end result of a person trying by lawkeeping to save themselves, and be accepted by God = based on effort and law keeping, is that then end up in hell.

Because God has made me holy. God can be truest to teach us how to live holy lives, so it is working well. When God commanded to Israelites do have a holy conduct for He is holy, do you think that the Israelites were given instructions for how to do that, or do you think that they had no idea how to do that? Do you think that refraining from eating unclean animals has something to do with being holy?:

Leviticus 11:44-45 For I am the Lord your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy. You shall not defile yourselves with any swarming thing that crawls on the ground. 45 For I am the Lord who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.”

In Matthew 23:23, Jesus said that faith is one of the weightier matters of the law, so obedience to it has always been about depending on Christ and has never been about trying to save ourselves. However, it is absurd to think that obedience to God is the way to end up in hell while the way to avoid hell is to refuse to obey Him, as if you think God can't be trusted to teach us how we should live. In 1 John 3:10, those who do not practice righteousness in obedience to God's law are not born again, so being born again has nothing to do with refusing to obey God's law.

A chip off of the old block is someone who has the same character of nature as their father and this is the sense that Jesus is the Son of God in that the Son is the exact expression of God's nature (Hebrews 1:3), which he expressed through his actions by living in obedience to the Mosaic Law, so this is also the sense that we are sons of God through participating in the divine nature in obedience to the Mosaic Law, which is why those who do not practice righteousness in obedience to it are born again (1 John 3:10). While we are not made righteous by our obedience to it, the Mosaic Law nevertheless describes the way that a righteous person lives, as it describes the way that Christ lived. In Titus 2:14, Jesus gave himself to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people of his own possession who are zealous for doing good works, so becoming zealous for doing good works in obedience to the Mosaic Law is what it means to believe in what he accomplished through the cross (Acts 21:20).

God's righteousness is eternal, so the way to do what is righteous is also eternal. God can make a covenant that can include instruction for how to do what is righteous, that covenant can become obsolete, and God can make a new covenant, but none of that will change the way to do what is righteous, so that fact that the Mosaic Covenant has become obsolete doesn't mean that we shouldn't obey its instructions for how to practice righteousness. Again, those who do not practice righteousness in obedience to God's law are not born again (1 John 3:10). Being one with God in Christ is about having the same nature, which is why 1 John 2:6 says that those who are in Christ are obligated to walk in the same way he walked, which was in obedience to the Mosaic Law. Christ lived in obedience to the Mosaic Law, so that is also how we are to live when he is living in us.

For example, God's law reveals that it is righteous to help the poor, but no amount of helping the poor will cause someone to become righteous, rather to say that someone is righteous is to communicate that they are someone who chooses to help the poor through faith. Jesus did not need to obey the Mosaic Law in order to become righteous, but rather he is a righteous person and the Mosaic Law describes what it means for him to live as a righteous person.

If the Law is expressed as salvation, then you'll need to get rid of the Cross.
But then again, you are trying.

In Titus 2:14, it describes what Jesus accomplished through the cross by saying that he gave himself to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify and to purify for himself a people of his own possession who are zealous for doing good works, so all of this was what was accomplished through the cross, not something that gets rid of the cross. If I were you, I would focus on trying to accept what Titus 2:11-14 says about what Jesus accomplished through the cross.

If I were you, I would focus on trying to accept what Titus 2:11-14 says about what Jesus accomplished through the cross.

Your particular version of the bible has a terrible translation of the word SIN.
It translates it as "lawlessness" , which is confused and foggy, and meaningless, actually.

God did not come here to forgive LAWLESSNESS..... as that is a generic obscure term...
God came here to forgive SINNERS THEIR SIN with His shed blood and death.

Paul teaches that Christ "BECAME SIN", on the Cross.
So, You have God on the Cross taking the sin of the world unto Himself and DYING as the JUDGEMENT FOR IT.
