Unfortunately, that parable doesn’t support your assertion. It wasn’t about individuals, but about Jerusalem.
But let me see if I can flesh out your understanding. You say that Christ gives people time to bear fruit, and then are cut off after a certain time. If that’s the case, then once they bear fruit, they can never be lost, correct?
Simon the Sorcerer obeyed the gospel in Acts 8:13
Then Simon himself believed; and when he was baptized he continued with Philip and was amazed seeing the miracles and signs which were done.
Now Simon is going to sin against God by trying to buy the gift of miracles from the apostles with money.
Acts 8:18-19 And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money, saying give me this power also that anyone on whom i lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit.
Now Peter is going to tell him if he does not repent of his sin he will perish.
Acts 8:20
But Peter said to him, Your money PERISH with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!
Acts 8:21-22
You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God, repent therefore of this wickedness and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.
Simon asks Peter to pray for him that he not perish for his sin.
Acts 8:24
Then Simon answered and said, pray to the Lord for me, that none of the things which you have spoken may come upon me.
