@Titus DornWhat do you think Calvinists base their assurance on?
That is to say, if he asks for forgiveness and repents for hating his brother he will not be forgiven and have eternal life?1John 3:15
Whoever hates his brother is a murderer and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
A brother here is a brother in Christ. Gods word teaches that if a Christian hates his brother he does not have eternal life.
Hard to misunderstand.
So you don’t really know anything about Calvinism.Being chosen?
Maybe. But not about Calvinism. If you can’t explain the opposing view, then you can’t really argue against it.I know more than most calvinists.
The only logical reason one could be saved in a calvinistic world is if they are chosen for salvation. The fact that some calvinists will deny this means they don't understand their own theology.Maybe. But not about Calvinism. If you can’t explain the opposing view, then you can’t really argue against it.

Okay. The points he made make it obvious that he doesn’t know what Reformed Theology actually believes and teaches.I’d love to hear you expound upon this
So again, you show that you don’t know what Reformed Theology actually teaches and believes. He would probably mis use the verse where Jesus says he chose the twelve disciples.
I’m saying that you can’t explain any view of Reformed Theology in a way that a Calvinist would. You just know the straw man talking points. Are you telling me calvinists don't use that verse to support individual election? Because they do.

Of course you think he’s correct. But I’m sure that you also can’t give an explanation to any of the points of Reformed Theology in a way that a Calvinist would.Oh I think he hit the nail right on the head. According to Calvinism no one can know if they are saved or not due to Calvin’s “band aide” doctrine called “evanescent grace” in which God evidently bestows an “unsaving grace” to some who think they believe and are saved but are really not saved at all. Sort of like God saying “HA!! made ya believe!! hehe I can’t believe you fell for that one, but no really I’ve decided your going to burn for all eternity. GOTCHA!!” XD
Yeah, because it’s easier to have a surface-level response and get lots of “likes” that way. What one calls “straw man talking points” others call fundamental flaws.
