If you're trying to make the claim that angels are living beings that exist throughout the universe, the burden of proof is on you.

Otherwise, post #10 stands.
Whether I satisfy that burden of proof to academic standards or not, post #10 still stands as wrong.

I have a question for smot people:

How is it the angels had the privilege of circumventing evolution, but Homo sapiens didn't?
The same way the titular Alien from movies does.

As I said, that attitude causes mistakes to be made in the theology department; just like my attitude toward academia in general causes me to make mistakes in the science department.

No one has a reasonable claim to theological truth tho. It boils down to faith. At least with science you can show another person their mistake.

Invoking made-up entities is not a way to demonstrate something is wrong.

Unless you have something better than "what about angels?" there isn't going to be anything further to discuss here.

That depends on the environment - a novel environment might require novel adaptations.

As in a mutation that had occurred countless times but
is favored in this setting.

Um OK so do you mean God meddles or doesnt
God "meddles" with His creation from time to time on an as-needed basis; telling nature to "stand aside."

Examples include parting the Red Sea, the Burning Bush, the Tower of Babel, the Ten Plagues, various weather phenomenon, and this doosey ...

Deuteronomy 29:5 And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.

Throw in the sun and moon standing still, and it's enough to make a college graduate believe the Bible speaks of geocentrism.

In the New Testament, we have the Virgin Birth, Death & Resurrection of Jesus Christ, and His ascension into Heaven.

All of these nature-defying acts have a technical term that defies scholarly explanation and scientific scrutiny: "miracles."

That's all very well, but the question before us is really, "Does God periodically and routinely tinker with molecular genetics in some undetectable way so that the creatures turn out the way He wants?" I don't believe in that particular "miracle."

Seriously? Consider ye, the house fly v DDT.
What happened?
Spraying was hugely successful.
But a few already had the notation that enabled them to metabolize
DDT. Populations rebounded. DDT use ceased.
The flies reverted to prior genotype. Why?

Same in Oz when myximitosis (sp) was used.
99.9 or so of rabbits dead. But a few were prepositioned
for the new environment.

Take some common bacteria. Every possible mutation has to
be present, somewhere.

No evidence of such a thing nor of any need for it.

You mean like here?

Exodus 7:10 And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

No -- not periodically and routinely.

No genetic meddling there; I've seen that trick done by magicians in Middle-Eastern marketplaces.
