Very recommended.

Leaves you smiling and feeling warmed, and that's just for starts.

Especially after you watch a few episodes, but also maybe even in the first. But...you will be glad if you see what happens.

Don't be put off if the first episode is gritty, because that's only to paint the grittiness of the East End of London circa 50s-early 60s.

For Christians or others, this is such a great show. I've thought about recommending it about 10 times, and I finally stopped delaying...

If I put it in ranking, I don't think there is any other show that is up on this level for leaving you refreshed and smiling. And it's compelling. Just so well done also. 10/10

It's probably available to stream on PBS, but I know for sure it's on Netflix for now, as we noticed that and have been watching it on Netflix.

And it won't be just a few and done, because they are like on season 9 or so, and you can see why it's run so long after you watch a few.

We are watching one every evening almost lately, and we smile as it turn it on.

We had a midwife for our birth, way back. It was so comforting.

I rewatched the 1rst episode after I recommended it above, and it's starts out in that first episode very gritty, and I hope that doesn't put anyone off before they find out how great it is as a show. I'll add that to the OP.
