Need help on something

not sure if this is the right place to post

would god be happy with my life style? I just want to be a good person and live life to what it offers me I don’t really fully Christianity much

like I believe there’s a god

I’m not sure how to really put this I’m just confused with who I am at the moment

The Lord is looking for commitment to Him that is Hot.

If you think you lack such deep fervour, the ask Him for it with you whole heart.

Are you attending a church?

Are you reading the bible?

Maybe He is stirring within you to deeper things?

There is an exciting life of service out there that will blow you away, but you must make it priority one to find it.

Earnest prayer, keep the company of those who you know are living the life you want.

Attend a lively biblical church and pray with others is a good start.

It looks like you have to decide if you want to be right with God or be yourself instead. If it's the former (which I thought was the case when I read your initial post), you'll have to become acquainted with God, and not just any idea of a god but the real God.

As Carl suggested, that means reading the Bible, which is God's message to us about himself, you, and life. All that he promises and offers is brought to your attention in that book.

Hello Yogi and welcome. There's been some really good advice given already. I would just add that reading the Bible and finding a good church family can help you go beyond being yourself. God can take the best version of you that you can be and make it better. I recommend that you give it a try, even if it's just in small increments to begin with.

The bible tells us:

Psa 37:4 So will your delight be in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires.

Sometimes we think we need to leave God behind to get what we want. But you will find the opposite is true, as we follow God faithfully we will have our needs, and many desires met.

Dear one,
You must have heard:
So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. -Genesis 1:27

So dear one,
you will not who you are till you understand that you are created in His image.

Why man created in God’s image ? Yet not know ? How do we can come to know ? This is what we have heard:
Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, -Hebrews 1:1
but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also He created the world. -Hebrews 1:2

What is God trying to say ? This is what we have heard:
For those whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, in order that He ( Christ ) might be the firstborn among many brothers. -Romans 8:29
And those whom He predestined He also called, and those whom He called He also justified, and those whom He justified He also glorified. -Romans 8:30

So dear one, if you are unwilling to be conformed to the image of His, you can’t be justified.

So dear one, if you want to be yourself after the flesh, you will be weakened and can’t be justified.

So this confusion about yourself, it is because you don’t identify yourself with the Lord. If you identify yourself with the Spirit of God, you will set your mind on the things of the Spirit. Having your mind ruled by the Spirit of God, then you can see yourself clearly as child of God, for you have conformed yourself to the image of God.
