Something I've been hiding under the rug.. just today I realized how much of a freak I am.. and how I have mental issues that almost no one else experiences. Out of all the people in the world, why I am stuck with them. I know my sisters go through similar things.. as well as some of my extended family.. not quite sure what the genes are and what they do.. but they seem to be genetic.

I very much doubt that you have mental issues that are that rare. There are probably many people who struggle with the same.

Genetics can really be a bummer. I seem to have gotten the worst genes from both my parents.

I would wish it on NO woman for her to commit adultery - either in her heart, or otherwise. Even if I COULD benefit massively from it. Indulging a crush is you essentially willing for her to make a mistake. Telling her how you feel is just solidifying it.

Ugh. I'm struggling with this so much right now with my crush, though the genders are reversed of course. What do you think constitutes "indulging", and how careful should I be when communicating with him? I would never tell him outright, but I feel like some of the things I do are telling him anyways. Unintentionally.

Believers, what's your thoughts on drinking?

I think it's okay, even getting drunk. As long as it's occasional, as long as it's in situations that won't lead to sin.

I'm pretty 'fundamentalist' in my beliefs, but I really really don't see a problem w/ drinking or getting drunk as long as guidelines above.

Drinking is fine. I drink occasionally, though usually only with others. Drinking in excess is not fine. I would personally include getting drunk under that umbrella. Tipsy is alright. Outright drunk? No. It lowers your inhibitions too much and can lead you to sin easily where you never would have otherwise. Think of the story of Noah and his sons. He was drunk, and his behaviour caused both himself and Ham to sin. I think it's a cautionary tale. Though to be honest, I never really understood what Ham's sin in that story actually was. Maybe disrespect? I dunno.

You really shouldn't use fundamentalist to describe yourself, IMO. Use conservative instead. It has less negative connotations, especially in the secular world. People hear fundamentalist and think Islamic suicide bombers and Mormons with 10 wives.

I have no issue with alcohol or genetic propensity towards abuse. I like wine, champagne, and French spirits.

I’m having Riesling now.

I know! I had hoped to stay in tonight on my last night off of work before returning to night shift tomorrow (normally I'd be on days tomorrow since I just came from nights last Monday night, but the person I alternate shifts with graciously conceded to stay on days this time to spare me the trouble this go-round ), but this errand requires urgency, and I must go before the store where I normally acquire my sangria closes.

I’m not a sommelier. I considered it given the setting. But the store closed. Instead of sending the resources elsewhere they gave them to me.

But then, i guess she just gave off the early twenties' vibe with her sassy but more innocent "don't need no man" musical performance there. I'll take this kind of classic "man-bashing" song over Beyonce's or Taylor Swift's any day, at any rate. ^-^


I like how the Japanese always seem to need to include an English word or entire phrase or two in their pop songs. Crystal's being "just my ex-boyfriend" in this case. They must really like us.

You actually interrupted me (I'm not seriously disturbed by the interruption, of course ^-^ ) while I was listening to the ASMR of my favorite red-head from YT, Miss Bella.

Just kind of started having these kinds of vids from YT going as background noise since the repetitive noise of monster growls and gunfire and more ambient but tense soundtracks during my slow, plodding trek through the Resident Evil 4: Life in Hell mod can easily become redundant for me and an eventual offense to my ears, as long as this game is taking. Must have put over thirty hours into this by now over the last couple of weeks. Whew .... But, it's a challenge this knight likes.


Naturally, I discovered that, as cute as she is, Goodnight Moon's real name is Erin. ^-^ (No joke.)

When you’re at that level your need for the opposite sex is harder to promote. You may desire certain qualities but you’re not dependent.

I’ve never listened to ASMR. Every since that girl suggested I listen to the bimbo subliminal and I realized she was lacking a few marbles I’ve been hesitant.

I gave her the benefit of doubt until I realized she was a little spacey and the prospect of joining her was terrifying.
