If all those churches would only realize that the Sabbath command was given to only one nation by God and never ever given to any of His other children around the Earth, they wouldn't set themselves apart from mainstream Christianity. The nation of Israel, which the covenant with its Sabbath command was given, couldn't keep the Sabbath command. Likewise, those who believe they are to keep the day holy fail as did the Israelites. Believing the Sabbath is binding and those who believe differently are sinning are no better off because they are sinning by not observing properly. Never in 40 years as a Sabbath observer did I ever meet the requirements of keeping the day Holy. Can any of you also admit you too fail to meet the requirements.
Not "keeping the Sabbath is not a sin because there is no command in the new covenant that imopses such a requirement. Where there is no law there is no sin.
Highway one has a speed limit of 55, highway two has no speed limit and I am on highway two. The speed limit of highway one, 55, has absolutely no jurisdiction over how fast I travel on highway two. Likewise the old covenant has no jurisdiction over the new covenant.
