EXCLUSIVE: How a Philly mob boss stole the election — and why he may flip on Joe Biden

The innermost circles of the American mafia are abuzz. The Boss of the Philly mob — ‘Skinny Joey’ Merlino — is taking a victory strut, hobnobbing around the highest echelons of old-time mafia folk, mostly in Florida, describing what may have been the heist of the century: the 2020 presidential election.

The feat is drawing praise from far-flung corners of the Italian American business community, which sees the thanks of a grateful administration as key to the revival of the community’s political influence.

But an associate says that Merlino might just be willing to flip on Joe Biden and the Pennsylvania political operatives who ordered up some 300,000 election ballots marked for Biden. The source alleges that Merlino and a lean team of associates manufactured those ballots at a rate of $10 per ballot — a whopping $3 million for three days of work. They were then packaged into non-descript cardboard boxes and dropped off outside the Philadelphia Convention Center.

Sources who spoke to The Chronicle on the condition of anonymity say that Merlino picked up those ballots from two private households where a trusted handful of associates were busily marking ballots with Sharpie markers. They were paid more than $1,000 per hour, often producing thousands of ballots every hour for more than 60 nearly-consecutive hours.

The ballots were purchased in cash...

Their has been so much stuff going on in Philly for a century not surprised. e.g. experienced pollsters would say Trump needed to win the state by +4 or 5% to get passed the fraud on the other side.

Wow just finished really reading that carefully. It could be really good for Trump. I guess the big potential snag are things like premeditated murder etc. It would be easy to forgive some of the mob crimes for testimony, but if this guy also has done other things for the mob then that could be a tough pill and I think it would be hard to justify that as far as the public goes.

I have my doubts about the Buffalo Chronicle as a reliable news source, so I'll wait and see what happens from here. The unnamed source should report their information to the FBI, who can conduct an investigation, and we'll see what comes out of that investigation.

Care to share the reasons for your doubts on the reliability of the Buffalo Chronicle?

Some of the other "Top Headlines" on their front page have a sound of non-truthfulness to them, the kind of statements that you see in click-bait ads. That doesn't, in itself, mean that the Buffalo Chronicle is wrong. I remember a case from a few years back where the National Enquirer (seriously) broke a story that turned out to be factual. But it does mean that I want to see the Buffalo Chronicle's story confirmed by a another source -- the AP, or an FBI report, something like that.

well since you asked:
The Buffalo Chronicle - Media Bias/Fact Check
QUESTIONABLE SOURCE
A questionable source exhibits one or more of the following: extreme bias, consistent promotion of propaganda/conspiracies, poor or no sourcing to credible information, a complete lack of transparency and/or is fake news. Fake News is the deliberate attempt to publish hoaxes and/or disinformation for the purpose of profit or influence (Learn More). Sources listed in the Questionable Category may be very untrustworthy and should be fact checked on a per article basis. Please note sources on this list are not considered fake news unless specifically written in the reasoning section for that source. See all Questionable sources.

  • Overall, we rate The Buffalo Chronicle Questionable based on far-right-wing bias, a complete lack of transparency, promotion of propaganda/conspiracy theories, and several failed fact checks.

Over the weekend, Merlino's name came up in a fantastical "exclusive" published by The Buffalo Chronicle, a bogus conspiracy news website that has been linked to patently false stories about Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, among other baseless scoops debunked by news organizations.
...
Attorney John Meringolo, who represents Merlino, told the New York Daily News on Tuesday that his client has no involvement whatsoever with any of the allegations raised in the story. He's reportedly been fielding numerous calls about it.

“My client categorically denies all the allegations and Joey would rather die than ever be a snitch,” Meringolo said.

Merlino, after reading The Buffalo Chronicle story, reportedly told Meringolo, "These people are crazy!"

Even Rudy Giuliani, who has propagated his own baseless allegations about election fraud, called the allegation against Merlino "far-fetched" during an interview with Fox Business on Tuesday.
Reputed mob boss Joey Merlino roped into bizarre Philly election fraud conspiracy

300,000 ballots just get slipped in marked with Sharpie markers and none of the Republican election observers notice? LOL Another Sharpiegate.

I think this story is fascinating. I hope we learn more. If it turns out to be false, it was, at the very least, incredibly entertaining.
I'll say! It sounds like the script to a very bad novel or an old B rated movie.

Okay, I see where you are coming from. It is good to show discernment when reading news article. It shows that you are willing to think for yourself rather than blindly believing what you are told. So why doesn't more people exercise this level of discernment for left leaning sources like CNN and the New York Times?

I'll ask you the same question as I asked in post #14.

tulc(is honestly curious part 2)
I see alot of posters on here that identify with the left. The way I see it, it can be dangerous for a Christian or any human to identify too closely with either party. I pray we can all spend more time in God's word then we do watching cnn and fox news

I have noticed alot of CF posters who are pro Biden making statements that stereotype all Trump supporters. They are responding to them in ways that are intended to make people on the right feel dumb and like their opinion doesn't matter. Some would say Trump supporters started it and weren't very friendly with people on the left for the past 5 years

But i ask is it right to repay evil with evil?

There's a lack of mutual respect on here and since the election i see it coming more from the left

I must also say I have no issue with anyone that voted for Biden or Trump. I see a mixture of good and bad either way. I did not vote for either, I sat this one out. I am truly saddened by the anger and hatred, regardless of who started it and who's looking to finish it

I see the problem: one of us is apparently unclear on the question that's being asked, the original poster was asking (as I understood the question) why some people don't fact check certain news groups as much as they do other groups. Which is why I asked
I'm curious why you would assume that they don't?
Then you posted:

which is why a responded how I did. so were you asking us the same thing (° ͡ ͜ ͡ʖ ͡ °) (ᵔᴥᵔʋ) was asking or not?
