  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Any Dubstep Fans?

I thought you were going to share some Chrsitian Dubstep music, which I would have been interested to hear!

Best

Rob
Lol, sorry about that. I tbh, there aren't many Christian dubstep songs that I'm particularly fond of, HOWEVER, there are a few I find that really hit the spot (lol) Here's one of them:

Not sure if something like this is what you're looking for or not. But I Googled dubstep and this is the closest thing I've heard to it in Christian music. There was a Christian contemporary song I heard on the radio today that sounded like an old school Michael Jackson beat and sound but the DJ didn't name the artist.

That's Awsome! There's actually a channel called The DJ's Diciple but I can't find any Christian dubstep songs that don't have much of a drop... (tbh I really like brutal dubstep XD)

Yeah I know what you mean. The best Dub step is really in a minor key! I can imagine some Andy Mineo tracks having that half-time feel. But to find those basslines, maybe there's a gap in the market for good Christian Dubstep. Just wait til Heaven dude. All the great genres will be about Jesus! Drum &Bass, Indie rock, Hip-hop. Then again maybe those genres won't exist lol.

I kind of doubt that. God made music to worship Him, so I would think that all music would branch from that purpose.

Lightstar, indeed, but there are many genres of music theough which we can worship God. Not just Hillsong! I always hear Thom Yorke singing "it's gonna be a glorius day" and wish that song was made for God's glory, because that would be so much more worthwhile. I don't see why dubstep couldn't proclaim God's glory if it wanted to.
