As i ponder this, Job comes to mind. God Himself testifies to Job's wisdom, several times, right there in the book of Job. This is what wisdom is:

it's the "fear of the Lord".

Proverbs 9:10 tells us that the very "beginning" of wisdom is the "fear of the Lord". And there is no fear of thd Lord without first humbling ourselves before Him.

To humble ourselves before the Lord, and thus to "fear" Him, simply means that we take Him seriously, and thus "believe" Him, just as Abraham did, which is why Abraham "obeyed" Him, and because Abraham "believed" Him is why God Himself called Abraham His "friend".

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom..." -Proverbs 9:10

God bless you on this cold but sunny Sunday morning in October, Bob. You are a blessing. :)
