Then, with all due respect, you're not looking hard enough. Dig through the Conspiracy Theory forum a little bit, you'll find a fair number of flat earthers. I can't prove they're not just pretending, mind you, but if they are, they're going to absurd lengths.
The entire reasoning behind a Poe.

"Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is utterly impossible to parody a Creationist in such a way that someone won't mistake for the genuine article."

In my experience, flat earthers fall into this category as well.

All sorts of people have done that here and explained their reasoning, only to be told that it's not good enough since they didn't reach the same conclusion as the people urging them to look at the matter "objectively."
I have not seen you admit to any fault in Trump.

Republicans could have impeached Trump 2 years ago--and have a REPUBLICAN in office.
...and then steps towards impeaching Pence would have commenced immediately. You don't feed the bear thinking he won't be interested in the next meal.
I have not seen you admit to any fault in Trump.
Then I can only conclude that you've missed some of my posts.

I strongly doubt you could provide evidence for this claim.

I can sure give evidence supporting yours.

Albion claimed that this was a "snooze" the Biden campaign came up with. Yet Scientific American was never a part of the Biden campaign. The news here is that they now support it, entirely of their own volition. Thus he is clearly not looking at things objectively-- even to the point overlooking the abundantly obvious.

Right, but none of them have the courage, except Romney.

It is a disgrace to call these people republican or conservatives .. there is no republican or conservatives left in current Trump party .. I am a conservatives ( never been a republican or democrat) but I have ZERO policy agreement with Trump Administration. .. and it’s not little old me only .. the last 2 Republican Presidential Candidate or last two Republican President has Zero policy agreement with Trump administration. The people who support Trump .. they are neither Conservatives nor Republican. The last Republican President didn’t even endorse the Current republican president, the last Republican presidential candidate voted to impeach the current Republican President.

I am accustomed to all sorts of people despising teachers - I'll go so far as to say hating them.

Left, right, gay, straight, black, white. You have all sorts of Americans who would lynch teachers up the nearest tree if they could. I learned a long time ago to let whatever lies the haters make up and say to roll off of my back.

I would not even be able to pick out Donald Trump, Jr. in a lineup if you paid me.

I know the value of teachers and that's all. I know MY value and that's all I need.

A snooze of an issue. There aren't going to be too many people who go to the polls having decided on a candidate because Scientific American (!) made some endorsement. ^_^

For which we should maybe be grateful.

We know trump is a con man, but he's too narcisstic (or too stupid) to really hide his true character and intentions. That's why I always argue that no one fetter trump's access to Twitter. He's always letting us know exactly what he's up to or what he thinks.

Pence OTOH is sneaky. We wouldn't ever hear of the bad things he might do/has done until it's too late.

Which Creationism do you teach? ID, YEC, OEC?

In the public school system, I taught what was in the book - evolution. I taught it as what it is - a theory. I taught my students to think for themselves.

In Sunday School - I teach creationism. Not intelligent design. Old or young earth? I lean more towards a youngER earth. How young? I don't know. I don't have those facts. I do believe in a 6-day creation period, but the age of the earth in that context? The Bible doesn't address that.

I don't believe one's adherence to a young or old earth defines one's faith in God.

Probably a lot fewer than those who will go to the polls having decided on a candidate because of Q. More's the pity.

Sadly, this is true, and speaks volumes about the value of facts, evidence, science, logic, reason and empirical truth in the United States of America at present.

If a person isn't paying attention, he can easily be deceived.

In this case, Donald Trump, Jr. DID NOT "call teachers 'losers.'"

But an anonymous person online said that he did...

...and that was based upon a deliberately misleading headline from a very biased publication, Snopes.

What he said--and it does appear correctly in the Snopes article, although the opposite is implied in its title--was this:

You don’t have to be indoctrinated by these loser teachers that are trying to sell you on socialism from birth.

So Donald Trump, Jr. thought that the teachers who indoctrinate students into thinking that socialism is a better way are losers.

If Democrat, Independent and those who don’t want Trump to be re-elected show up to vote, Trump will be history along with Pence.. after inauguration in 2021 ( not sure when – this will be long and bitter process) , those who support Trump today will not even remember who he was. .. evangelical will go back to “Sanctity of Marriage “ , Neo-con like Marco Rubio will chant about National security .. and Trump will only be invited to speak at QAnon rally.

The intellectuals and the educated are lining up with Biden.

This just confirmed polling showing that Biden leads among college educated whites while Trump is supported by whites with high school educations or less. (Demographic breakdowns were not available for other racial groups, which lean more heavily towards Biden overall.)

Even as you all send your kids to public schools. You hypocrites.
Oh nonsense. A parent can of course choose to spend thousands of dollars each on a private education for the kids, but it isn't hypocrisy to oppose the wrongful actions of anyone, a teacher included, if it happens in a public institution.

Or am I wrong and you also would advise anyone who resents a teacher preaching racism, sexism, or some weird conspiracy theory to his students to just take it and not cause trouble??

Since you brought up the issue of hypocrisy.
