There are at least three interpretations of "Between The Evenings" (Exodus 12:6) with "twilight" used in most English translations. Here are three interpretations of "twilight" ... the word used most often in English translations for: "Between The Evenings" ... בין שני ערבים ... Ben Ha Arbayim ...

Exodus 12:6 (Young's Literal Translation)
And it hath become a charge to you, until the fourteenth day of this month, and the whole assembly of the company of Israel have slaughtered it between the evenings;

The shortest time span reckoning is from sunset to sundown on Nisan 14
Possibly at short as approximately 38 minutes (our time) when the lambs were to be slayed

Another "twilight" time span is from noon to sunset on Nisan 14 (when the Lamb of GOD was killed)

The longest time span is from sunset beginning Nisan 14th to sunset beginning Nisan 15.

The intent of this thread is to define the "twilight - between the [two] evenings" timeline for slaying the lambs as Yahweh commanded the Israelites in Exodus 12 ...

Exodus 12:14 (Complete Jewish Bible)
This will be a day for you to remember and celebrate as a festival to Adonai; from generation to generation you are to celebrate it by a perpetual regulation.

Between the evenings reminds me of a yom of 4 cups like ribs in the evening where a son and daughter share a voice.
There is a tradition of two pesach

Blessings Always
I wonder if the 4 hrs of evening are likened to 4 cups at seder.

It seems to me that "twilight to twilight" is an euphemism for one day. A day ended and a new day began at the "shining forth" of the first visible star at twilight. So, a 24 hour period.
Give due diligence,
In hebrew evening isn't used twice in a sentence.

[ And it came to pass, that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

31 And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the Lord, as ye have said

We agree that the first evening begins at sunset/sundown. The sighting of the new noon signals the beginning of a new month and new year Aviv/Nisan 1. The elapsed time between sunset at the end of the Jewish year and the sighting of the new crescent moon signals the beginning of the new year was a time lapse of 38 minutes in 2020.

Sunset on March 25th 2020 in Jerusalem was at 5:54pm (end of the year) with the new crescent moon sighted at 6:32pm by: Brian Hoeck, Karen Andrews, David McKnew, Gil Ashendorf, and Devorah Gordon in Jerusalem, signaling the beginning of the new year (Aviv/Nisan 1). A time span of 38 minutes between sunset and the beginning of a new year. If interested see sunset and twilight times in Jerusalem (scroll down to see April 8th, Pesach) ... According to the literal meaning of Exodus 12:6 the "first evening" of Nisan 14 begins at the beginning of dusk or twilight. So, how long is enough time during dusk or twilight (between the evenings") for the lambs to be killed / slaughtered before roasting?

Exodus 12:6
doesn't imply the lambs also had to also be roasted and eaten "between the evenings" just killed/slaughtered. The Torah tells us the lamb had to be eaten and any remains burned before morning. So, the second evening is sometime between sunset and morning on Nisan 14, according to Yahweh's "perpetual" instruction (Exodus 12:14 CJB).

Exodus 12:6 (JPS Tanakh 1917)
and ye shall keep it unto the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at dusk.
Exodus 12:6 (JPS Tanakh 1985)
You shall keep watch over it until the fourteenth day of this month; and all the assembled congregation of the Israelites shall slaughter it at twilight.

I wonder if there is a day star between evenings?

don't think so.

In astrology Venus is the morning and evening star.

In the bible Satan (Isaiah 14:12, Luke 10:18) is the morning star. Christ (Revelation 22:16) is also the morning star.

Christ is the morning and the evening Star. So Christ is the beginner and the end of the day. Alpha and Omega, the first and the last , the author and finisher. (Revelation 1:8: Hebrews 12:2). Jesus is the light of the world (John 9:5). Only the light of Jesus is truly bright and from the Father. (Revelation 2:28)

James 1:17 "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."

Satan may be a morning star, but he is only a poor imitation of the one true bright morning star, Jesus Christ.

This verse is interesting.

Job 38:7 "“When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?”

I'm speaking of Torah where the sun sets.
Sunset on March 25, 2020 was at 5:54 pm in Jerusalem. The new moon on Nisan 1 was first observed in Jerusalem by several eye witnesses at 6:32 pm ... 38 minutes after sunset.

Sunset on April 7, 2020 was at 7:02 pm in Jerusalem ... the beginning of Pesach. Some might contend that Pesach isn't officially underway until sundown when the new moon is first visible during civil twilight. Venus is the first star/planet visible after the moon.

On Fri, March 27 at 2:00 am Israeli time (IDT) advanced one hour. Thus, time difference of sunset at 5:54 pm on March 25th and sunset at 7:02 pm on April 7th.

Israel Summer Time (Hebrew: שעון קיץ sha'on kayits "Summer Clock"), also in English, Israel Daylight Time (IDT) is the practice in Israel by which clocks are advanced by one hour, beginning on the Friday before the last Sunday of March, and ending on the last Sunday of October.
