I suspect the effect is similar to a Christian trying to evangelize on an atheist forum.
Generates lots of comments but very little actual thought.

That said give it a try, if you cause one person to think it will be worth it.

Twitter is a cesspool. I doubt it will do much good.

I have seen social media used very effectively for encouragement (on Instagram more than Twitter). A good technique is to put a Bible verse on an image. Like so:

Like I said, pictures make a lot more impact.

And if you're serious about this, you need to know about hashtags.
Yeah I do use hashtags, like #Bible #God #Jesus etc

I think that's why my tweets had up to 100 views day 1. day 2 more like 20 views or less

I have 4 followers now. But the views of my tweets have dropped. I'm a bit sad about that and wonder why that is.
Don't get discouraged. Your tweet could save someone through Jesus 10 20 30 years from when you tweeted. God uses stuff like that. I have friends that got saved by something they read surfing. You may never hear from them. Heaven keeps excellent records. You might be surprised by your effectual evangelism.

I have a tweet with over 300 views now. Used the hashtag #zomervakantie which means summer holiday in Dutch. Asking people if they have nothing to do and want a crash course in the Bible. It produced a follower too. Got 8 followers now. Doubled up today already.

1. Yes. Any social media account can be used to spread the Gospel Message.

2. Do not look at building followers, simply make sure that your message of faith-alone in Christ-alone is clear, pure, easy to understand. The Holy Spirit will do the rest. Sometimes one sentence alone will drop a seed into the mind of the unbeliever which may sprout. Eventually he will reach God consciousness and be forced to confront the equation: what think Ye of Christ?

3. America is now a mission field and the internet is great tool to reach the unbeliever. Do not pound him into the ground about sin. The penalty for sin was taken care of on the Cross ( John 19:30 ). Christ died spiritually ( Matthew 27:46 ), then physically ( John 19:30 ). The work is done, completed. He took our place, He was our substitute. Preach the Good News of Christ's saving work ( John 3:16 ) to any who will listen.

4. I pray your ministry online highlights the Gospel Message of Christ's message of believing in Him and that you can spread the message far and wide.
