Sounds like a great day!
We have had rain all day, but we haven't had to water the garden
We are getting on the dry side here, but I don't need to mow my lawn.

We have a dry day forecast for tomorrow but knowing our weather, anything can happen
It appears that the sun has gone on holiday and given way to rain and cloud.
We had the rain yesterday, lots and lots of it! And windy Squalls all night. Today is fine with clouds and sun 16c and still a little windy. It appears that the sun has gone on holiday and given way to rain and cloud.
Thank you that would be nice especially for my wife who loves the sun I tend to cook. But you don't move to Orkney for the weather, it's more for the beauty and serenity(most of the time!).I would like to send you our sun. Today is another cloudless, hot (about 35 degrees C.) day here.

The high temperature at Griffiss AFB in Upstate New York was at least 94 F (34C) on June 9. I believe that we have had nine days so far this year with temperatures in the 90's which is unprecedented in this area for so early in the year. Buffalo NY was 98F (37C) yesterday. It will likely be in the 90's again today. Conditions are also very dry. Tropical Storm Fay is moving up the Atlantic coast and may be downgraded to a depression by the time it's effects are felt in this area tonight. A cold front will also follow from the west bringing a few days of

I enjoy reading the weather reports from Norway and the UK as world climate is a long time hobby of mine.
The US Southwest is experiencing a heat wave with some desert areas expected to top out around 120F (49C) today.
In our area of Upstate New York Tropical Storm Fay brushed our area with some light rain. Some areas received considerable amounts of rain along the Atlantic Coast.
