  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Americans agree on some things...

They don't show what you claim they do. It would be easy for you to establish that they do. Just show us here. Do you think anyone doesn't know why you won't support your claimed numbers?

If I missed your request to support any of my numbers, now's the time to bring it forward. I'll be glad to clear it up for you. What do you have? That's not a rhetorical question; since you made the accusation, I'm going to ask you to support it, now.

Why would I supply more facts that will just be ignored or dismissed with illogical excuses?

I was just checking to see if I missed any of your requests for more information on the numbers I showed you. So I gave you the opportunity to bring those forward. Since you declined to do so, I'm convinced that there have been no such cases.

And your unwillingness to support your own claims is noted.

actually people draw conclusions about people base on what they have been told by other people. What have the people been told about Trump day after day, 95%+ of the msm coverage has been nothing but negative. Now in all truth he has made some errors but seriously can anyone deserve 95% negative coverage.
I think you have it wrong.
You think it is the Randy Rainbow parodies, Colbert, John Oliver, etc.
And yes, they are funny.
But it is Trump himself, his own garbled inarticulate ramblings, his countless lies, his divisive race baiting, that we see.
Do you really think that if Colbert stopped his monologue that people would not notice his complete inability to lead--based on his ignorance of world affairs and history but most of all on his complete lack of character?
When defects are that glaring, we don't need comedians or media to point them out.

Trump's collapse in the match-up polls is mostly because Americans realize that Biden is a much better man than Trump.

This is just subjective speculation.

Well, let's take a look...

Majority of Americans think Trump is 'unstable', Fox News poll finds

But Republicans still strongly stand behind the president
A majority of voters think Donald Trump is unstable, divisive and lacks steadiness, according to a new Fox News poll.

Seven months into a tumultuous presidency, most of the roughly 1,000 Americans surveyed disapproved Mr Trump’s job performance thus far. His standing in the eyes of voters has eroded swiftly: the sole iteration of this poll in which most people approved of Mr Trump was in February. By March 51 per cent of voters disapproved versus 43 per cent who approved, a gap that only grown since.

A section of the poll offering different descriptions of Mr Trump fleshes out the dissatisfaction. Three-fifths of respondents described Mr Trump as at least somewhat unstable, with nearly half (44 per cent) saying he was extremely or very unstable. A majority said he was “not at all” a steady leader, and a majority said he was a bully, lacked compassion and was not a “moral leader”or presidential.

That was two years ago. Do you think his recent performance has raised him in their opinions?

So how does supplying a shortcut to page that requires a log in count as evidence?
