So once again, how do you know that your version of God is the correct version? How would you test your beliefs? Some Christians conflate testing one's beliefs with 'testing God', that is not the case. Testing the Bible or one's personal interpretation of the Bible is not testing God. Which is a good thing. Most people's interpretations of the Bible are demonstrably wrong.

With that said, why would I have to further discuss this with you, sir? If you weren´t willing to believe me when I stated something so simple about myself and it appears that you don´t trust this to be truth, how can I expect you to believe when I speak about something more profound than this

No one is saying truth is not truth just because we don’t know it is true. We are saying we need evidence to believe something is true. You need to defend your belief in what you believe to be true for others to believe it as well.

Tell that to the other atheists here, because some of them seem to think that "testing the Bible" or "testing their own personal interpretation of the Bible" ..... IS ..... testing God. Hence, their claims that God---for some reason---needs to meet their subjectively determined demands in order for them to believe.

It is perceived as shouting. That is what you are doing. And yes, since different Christians have different beliefs, not to count the thousands of other religions and beliefs out there, there is a need to defend one's beliefs. Especially in this part of the forum.

In the real world we do not get to make up our own languages, definitions, or rules of grammar. Communication would be very difficult if people did that. Even though you might not think that you are shouting everyone else can see that you are.

Really? I doubt that. It may be testing your personal God, and many Christians assume that the God that they believe in is the only one even when it refutes itself. You might want to check the context of their claims about "testing God".

And no one is saying that God needs to meet their subjective demands. They are most likely simply pointing out the errors in various different versions of God. Christians can get a bit ticked off when it is pointed out that they have different versions of God than other Christians. But the fact is if there was only one version of God there would not be thousands of sects of Christianity.
