CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, wapo doesn't usually pretend these issues don't exist. No, it looks as though she simply rearranges the facts before publication.
You can't really rearrange facts when you have the dear leaders own words on tape.

So why is it a voice over on the video until he actually gets off the bus? There is no image of him saying any of that at all...access pedowood, I mean access Hollywood and all...what you see and what you hear are two different things. I hear a voice...I see a bus???
You do know...those big wigs in pedowood want him dead and buried...just like the angry anti Trump hating mob...ulterior motives comes to mind.
Can't fake a tape...wonder why tape recordings are inadmissible in court?

The Obama administration deported around 5 million people, and put children in cages as well. And they dropped 100,000 bombs on largely brown and black people.
Also, Joe voted for DOMA before he decided he didn't agree.
And he voted for the crime bill that increased incarcerations, until he was for prison reform.
And he voted for the Iraq war, until it wasn't popular, then he didn't.
But I think he has stayed consistent on being willing to prostitute himself to donors, and now he is old enough.

It doesn't matter, and won't make a hill of beans difference. Politics - not principal - has spoken.
The MeToo movements and all that jazz? To me they have shown themselves as lacking principal. It's not suppose to be about politics and WHAT about Trump...it's suppose to be about supporting women that bring forth allegations even if they don't have the legal foothold needed. Ford nor Reade have that - at least I haven't seen Reade's so far its early. It's not supposed to about what conservatives said - its suppose to be about supporting those that felt they didn't have a chance once something awful happened to them. No matter where their cases go we support them. That doesn't hold water anymore. Yet, people will pretend it does anyway. Their support is fickle, and that means it's made of sand not cement. They lost their credibility. They won't admit that, but they did.
Ford was outed by Feinstein, and I'm not so sure she wanted her story to be outed. Yet, it was for people's agendas. I think something happened to her, but I'm confused on the details...and to be honest I think she is too. She had no choice but to go forward, because people had a boot on her neck. Had she come forward on her own? I do believe more might have listened, even though her friends etc that were there that night can't back her up. She was used as a political pawn. I feel sorry for her. I really do, and I think that whole process traumatized her more.
Tara Reade will be ignored, and not given the platform that Ford were given. It's too important NOT to politically. Ford was brave coming forth after being forced too, and I think Reade is brave also because they want to silence her. Both will face death threats, and their lives will never be the same. I do feel both lack the due process that in one case no one really cared about, and now the other they want to point out. It's not about women being believed. That was a lie. Politics seeped in and ruined it.
What confirmed the lie to me was Weinstein. Everyone knew what he was, and everyone pretended to be shocked when things went down. Please. Stories about the casting couch were out there for years, and Weinstein was one powerful dude. The story originally was rejected many times, because of that power. Then an outlet had the courage to bring it forth...and then the shock - or pretend shock - came over the world close to him. The world outside of his realm of power you can understand being taken back. The ones in his world? They are actors after all - they get paid to do it! YES the rest were enablers, and telling people to hush or their life will be ruined. They knew what that meant too. That's why it went on for so long. They would be lucky to support themselves as a cafe waitress if they said a word.
