Walk To Emmaus - anyone done it before?

Hi,

Has anyone in here heard of the Christian retreat Walk To Emmaus before?

If so, have you ever taken part in it and what did you get out of doing it? I recently went to one in Mount Tamborine with a friend of mine, and it was a lot of fun and heartwarming for the most part.

Mostly got some good friends out of it that I can talk to openly about what’s going on in my life. Went on my walk in 2012 and been back on team several times in several different rolls. Good refresher Christianity 101. You get to hear people talk frankly about their faith; particularly lay people.

I agree. I'd definitely do it again if I can afford it. Money is rather tight on me at present, but I have made friends with one of the ladies who did the catering there.
