I think I'll suggest a new forum where heterodox folks, like you, can get together, have group hugs, pat each other on the back and tell each other how great their posts are.
Unfortunately none of these type posts do anything to inform others about the supposedly superior doctrine of UR.
Many of the people who are being accused of being indoctrinated are the furthest from indoctrination. I for one was not indoctrinated in anything. Although I went to Sunday School sporadically as a child and was familiar with the hero stories David, Samson etc. I did not become a Christian until my mid 20s when Johnson was POTUS and I questioned everything from day one.
I studied at the graduate level about 2 decades later including Hebrew and Greek. And I am certain that exceeds the education of most UR-ites. Having a 100+ year old Strong's does not make one an expert in Greek and Hebrew. The UR posts betray the lack of formal study.

Dear Sage: What amazes me is how blind & dumb we can be. Like the blind man staggering along until the Master of ephphatha crosses his path, we too must be awakened by the Living One.

There has always been a witness, in every age, as this One awakens the deeps to call to them from the Glory...deep calling unto deep at the noise of His waterspouts.

There are indeed "kindred hearted ones", that sing back and forth to one another of our lovely Lord, the Master of reconciliation, the Lord Jesus Christ.

I have recently been prompted by the Lord I believe to have an expanding view of the idea of the Judgement of the Lord . I may be in error but 2 scriptures are before me :

1Cor 4:5
It is the Lord who judges me. Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his PRAISE from God.

Luke 9:54-55
54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?

55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.

56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

It is not simple yet for me to articulate but ...

I am seeing the Lord’s judgement as being fair , equitable , redeeming , restorative and reconciling .

Not Destructive and Destroying as the carnal church mind would describe it .

How mysterious is the thought that every man ( All) will receive PRAISE of God in the judgement .

The Love and Mercy and Faithfulness of the Lord are beyond what we can fathom.

Where we would call Fire Down from Heaven to bring correction and vindication - the love of God in Christ is contrary.

The more I know the less I know.

But I desire to know fully , clearly and rightly this Lord and God I serve - that I might rightly represent him in the earth .

Not being like the children of Israel ( or every Religious Church System ) - forming a Golden Calf to worship and saying this is the God on their Mount .

Totally false image - false representation of who He is .

We have been indoctrinated with the false image of God since our youth up .

The Lord is giving Sons and daughters - His mind - the mind of Christ - renewing and transforming our thoughts in His true form and image in preparation of Unveiling .

We are lowly , indigent beings ... awaiting our full salvation in Him . In Eden Mankind was lowered into the realm of Death - but in Christ , the Second Adam we are being raised into the realm of aonian life - God Life . Hallelujah , the time of our humility and nakedness is ending and the putting on of the new man in Christ is near .( Heb 9:28)

The heathen gods need to be appeased. Their good will is not their natural attitude but something that must be earned first. This use of the word is foreign to the Greek Bible whether in the Septuagint or in the NT. It is never used of any act whereby man brings God into a favorable attitude or gracious disposition.

I have zero allusions of the final triumph of our wonderful God. He is the End of the ALL, anything that resembles total and complete victory in Him falls short. Our Lord allows nothing to be lost (apollumi), not remnant pieces of fish & bread & most assuredly the broken & bruised remnants of Adam1 for whom He is the Mercy-Seat.

I knew that 'you knew', but my correction for you, was really to help those here who 'think they know better' because they can quote books of men they agree with. Just as we to do, of course, but 'our men/books' aren't as good as the majority church today. Truly the gates they enter through into 'their truth' are WIDE.
