Not sure how many more times I want to play the game of chasing down the ideologically motivated extreme minority scientific opinion.... just to find its been utterly discredited.

Gods got it all worked out. Don't worry about it. The earth is going to be just fine; we just have to find a way to keep people from poisoning one another.

Basically no one who actually studies climate change is claiming that it will destroy the Earth, and very few even think humanity is in danger of extinction.

What it does mean is a new age of mass extinctions, famine and human misery. It's not death for all, but preventing/delaying/mitigating would seem to be the moral choice for followers of Christ.

I rarely see: "Meh, why bother doing anything, God'll sort it out." applied to any other emergency or moral decision.

I simply read extensively actual research reports from the scientists doing the research. Nothing from opinion pieces. A recommendation would be very much less information. And also suspect really. I don't want one view. But all real information from all sources.

Currently he lives in Wellington, New Zealand, but holds visiting positions as a Professor of astrobiology at the University of Buckingham in England; as a space scientist at NASA-Ames Research Center in California; and as an astronomer at Armagh Observatory in Northern Ireland. Duncan is a space science authority who has worked with NASA to assess the threat of comet and asteroid collisions and investigate technologies to avert such impacts. He is also the author of four popular-level science books on space, and regularly writes for The Guardian and various other newspapers and magazines. He is a discoverer of minor planets including the main-belt asteroid 9767 Midsomer Norton.[2]
