I see but I'm still scared
It's fairly simple. God loves you and is not looking for an opportunity to damn you. And you wish to be right with God. So go to confession, list your sins, proclaim your sorrow for those sins, and that you intend not to do them again with God's help. You will then be absolved and rid of those sins. It will actually feel great, even if it is hard to make yourself go to confession. If it's been a really long time, I get that, but you just mention that as well, and you will get all the help you need. You want to get right with God. God wants your friendship. It's a win-win.

All that stuff was in the past, and sounds like it all happened a long, long time ago, God forgives and forgave you long ago, just let it go, K...?

All that matters is "now", always "now" and what you do with today and "now", etc...

Really dear, it's time to move forward, and onward and upward with God, dear...

I bet He's just waiting on you to do that with Him even right now... He doesn't want us, or you, to be living in the past, always dwelling on the past and still living in the past, etc, with all the shame, guilt, regrets, etc, when He's just patiently waiting on us to join Him in the present, etc... He knows that's not way for anyone to truly live, and is not what He wants for you OK...? He really wants you to meet and join Him in the present, but in order for you to do that, you've got to let the past go, and stop torturing yourself with it OK, cause that's not what He wants for you, K...? His "yearning" for you to join Him in the present is very strong and runs deep, but you have to do your part and let the past be the past and let the past go, before He can give you the kind of life (in the present with Him) that He so very deeply and earnestly desires to give you, K...?

He doesn't hold any of it against you, (the past), but in order for you to join Him in the present... He needs you to just let it go, K...? and join Him in the present, OK...?

It's forgiven, done finished, like Jesus declared on the cross, Forgiveness was what was done and finished, absolution, justification, salvation, it's all done, finished 100% completely, all you have to do is reach out and take His hand and let the past go and join Him in the present and walk as a forgiven person does and should, OK...?

Anyway, going to pray for you K...

God Bless!

Thank you praying for me but I'm going crazy now. I fear I may had committed any unforgiving sins and blasphemy. I can't remember what I done but I fear that I done something so unholy. But I can't remember. I was all angry and didn't think

Im trying to become a christian though. I was raised as a catholic all my life

As you will see on this site Catholics are Christians. You have access to the Eucharist, which is the Real Presence of Christ. As my Bishop says "Other Christians are starving because they do not have the Holy Eucharist".

But now due to my depression and guilt, I don't care anymore. I just want to be forgiven and saved. I can't believe how selfish I was
So, this is good that you now know that was wrong.

Trust God to forgive you and change you to how He wants you.

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

God wants forgiveness. You might consider that God wants you to forgive others, generously. He cares much more about you becoming a compassionately and generously forgiving person, than He cares about a couple of leftover marks on your body!!!

Do not let your tattoos have power over you, but forgive yourself and share with God and discover how we can share as family with other Christians.

Now you know something about what God does not want. Be glad and encouraged that you now know this, but also know what God does want :)

Ok I hate to admit this on the forums but I need to as now I'm getting really scared. Years ago before I was learning about christianity, I had got a 2 tattoos and some cosmetic surgery. I wasn't thinking at that time and all I cared about was looking good and to boost up my confidence. Now I'm reading that people will go to hell if they have any tattoos, piercing, & surgery. This is scaring me now literally. I did ask for Jesus forgiveness for what I done. But I cannot take back the tattoos and surgeries off my body. WHAT HAVE I DONE
Sin? Yes. Unforgivable? No.

Well, guess what, more than likely if you don't remember it, then it is God who caused you to forget it, which means He forgave you for it maybe even long before you ever even did it... whatever-the-heck it was that you can't remember anyway... so there's really no need or point in trying to go back and cause yourself to try and remember it OK...? And why (would we or any of us do that), etc? Just to make yourself "sin conscious" or try to drudge up something to torment yourself some more with that which God Himself caused you to forget...? You really think He wants you to be doing that, cause I guarantee you that's the last thing He wants, and you may actually be going against His will trying to cause yourself to remember it, since it is probably He who caused you to forget it, etc...

You really think God wants us to work our hardest at going back and remembering every single sin we've ever done ever in the past, and never ever forget it/them and torment ourselves all of our lives with them till the day we die...?

Really now, what kind of God do you think you/me/we have anyway...?

When He says He removes or casts our sins as far as the east is from the west, I think He means causing us to forget about them anymore completely, (after a certain point), etc..

God Bless!

so we have to differentiate a few things here.
Unbeliever vs. unbeliever, plus conversion.
What are the tattoos actually of? it may not even be a sin.

So here's the Gospel in a nutshell: Men are wicked, every thought is evil from birth. No one is righteous in the eyes of God, not one.
HOWEVER, because of God's great mercy, He called out us out of darkness and into the light, and those who are His hear His name. It seems as though you have a desire to follow Jesus, GREAT! It also seems you feel convicted about past sins. GREAT! This usually, but not always, is evidence the Holy Spirit is working in your heart.
Now, the issue would be what the tattoos are of. If they are demonic, Satanic, vulgar, profane, anything of the like--they would have been sin when you had them done, yes. However, when you confess with your mouth that jesus is Lord of of your life, you will be saved and cleansed from all unrighteousness; we must also confess our sins after being saved.
Sometimes even good tattoos can be a sin if, for example you chose to get a tattoo of a Bible verse even though you should have paid for your mortgage.
I think, and correct me if I'm wrong, the issue is your tattoos are permanent, so you have no way of ridding them except through surgery. I'm sure God will not punish you as long as you desire to correct the action when you can afford it. Perhaps a temporary solution would just be covering the obviously vulgar parts until you can fix them.

Tattoo removal is very expensive these days.
God is able to remove your fear about this from your mind and heart.

While you have the butterfly and dragon, you can see the butterfly to represent how God metamorphoses a caterpillar into a butterfly > a caterpillar is always surviving by chewing up leaves > destroying in order to stay alive. But the butterfly does no damage to flowers while sipping the sweet nectar from flowers; plus the butterfly helps flowers to reproduce by spreading pollen from one flower to another.

We in sin were like the caterpillar; we could do selfish things, using things up, using people, not really helping anyone . . . we even could chew up people. But now in Jesus we can fly free from all that, and enjoy the sweet nectar of God's love in tender and personal sharing with God and one another in Jesus.

But know there is the dragon who would burn us and devour us. We need to stay strong in God's love so we can't be burned alive with lust, and devoured by fear and worry and nasty anger and unforgiveness and boredom and loneliness and depression and bitterness which can eat a person alive.

Your tattoos can mean you are a butterfly feeding on sweet nectar . . . being "blameless and harmless" (Philippians 2:13-16) > while you stay kind and gentle and sweet, God can keep you safe from the dragon, even right while that dragon is nearby >

"You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies"
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (in Psalm 23:5)

Our enemies can include memories and reminders of our past. Even while enemy people and enemy memories and enemy temptations are nearby, our Father is able to share all He pleases with us.

hell is for those who reject Jesus and God's gift of salvation. See my signature-whosoever believes in him shall have everlasting life. It's not whosoever believes in him and doesn't have a tattoo. These types of thoughts come from the evil one, he is trying to make you doubt your salvation, he is there to stir up trouble in your mind. he wants you to be miserable not joyous in Christ.
Matthew 4:10
10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”
Next time those thoughts come quote that verse.

@Aquatic Waves

This (above) dear... do this and be done with it K...?

If God caused you to forget a sin, then how do you think He is holding it against you...?

Yours, me and my, and "your God" dear, does not do this to people, what you are doing you are doing to yourself, and may even be making him very sorrowful or sad or maybe even causing Him to shed tears for you, what you are only doing to yourself right now...

I think you need something like "this" (above), so just do it and be done with it, K...?

God Bless!

God can take your yelling, He is God not some dainty flower. If you committed the unforgivable sin you would not care about it, you have not committed the unforgivable sin. Stop worrying so much and rest in God

Their is only one unforgivable sin, "just one", and it is stated very, very clearly in scripture that it is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit... which requires, "absolutely requires" that you know Him (the Holy Spirit) as God "from the other two in the Trinity arrangement" first, and I 100% guarantee you that your "just not there yet", OK, and therefore, not only "did not (ever) do it", but "could not have done it" (yet) either, OK...?

It's "impossible" for someone like you with where your at, OK...

So, just put your mind at ease about that one right here and now OK...?

It is impossible, "impossible", for someone like you to have committed the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit OK... which means all of every single one of your sins, past, present, and future, right now, are 100% totally and 100% completely forgivable, OK...?

And I'm telling you He has forgiven them and forgiven you, OK...?

Don't argue with this anymore K, just accept it already, K...?

God Bless!

I was watching these videos and Im getting scared

Btw before realizing that it was wrong, I said God's name in vain so many times in my life. This was when i was angry or shocked
They don't know the Holy Spirit yet either, and the blasphemy of that One, is not taking the Lord's name in vain or is just about just a person's attitude alone or whatever else they are claiming, this sin is very, very specific, and they do not know what it is yet either, because they do not know the Holy Spirit from the other two members of or in the trinity arrangement nor understand any of that yet, and neither do you dear...

If it was taking the Lord's name in vain, then why did Jesus say "anyone who says anything against Himself (Jesus) will be forgiven, but that the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, (specifically), (apart from the Lord Himself), would not be forgiven", etc...?

Can you, or any of these people (idiots and deceivers) you are listening to (sorry), answer that for me please...?

Cause if you can't, or can't even begin to, then, guess what, you haven't done it, period...

God Bless!

You don't need to. Jesus paid the price for all of them. If you have confessed them to God and renounced them and asked for forgiveness, you can rest in the forgiveness that he provides through Jesus's death and resurrection.

Understand that I think you completely missing the point of "all of it" (the word of God, of Jesus, and of the entire gospels and scriptures) my dear, just simply,

Be praying for you though...

It doesn't matter what your sins are, you don't need a list, God knows each and every one of them that you have committed and those that you have yet to commit. It's the same for all of us. Any sin at all keeps us out of God presence, any. I doubt cosmetic surgery is a sin but even if it is, that doesn't matter. You don't get into heaven by being good or by trying not to sin because no one is good except for God. You either accept God's gift or you don't.

Romans 3
10 as it is written:

“None is righteous, no, not one;
11 no one understands;
no one seeks for God.
12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless;
no one does good,
not even one.”

Isaiah 1:18
“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.

Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
