I'm curious to see how this plays out, because if Trump loses I fully expect there will be violence.
Because when he won, it produced violence on the part of the sore losers?

Republicans aren't generally revolutionaries or anarchists, just the opposite; but as I have noted before, when one side crosses a line, it invites the other side to return the favor because what was previously unthinkable no longer is seen that way.

Jeff Bezos? ROFL How does he affect you? Do you work at Amazon? That has nothing to do with him being Republican, just an %&$!
Are we not to have compassion for the less fortunate? How does "I don't work for Amazon so I don't care" fit into that?

And each swing of the pendulum gets bigger...

You're the one that used him as an example. Because he is a greedy man doesn't make every Republican greedy. I am talking about abortion and killing babies and you turn it around to the poor. What have they got to do with each other. The poor we will always have and take care of, but these babies are gone forever, and Democrats applaud the mother's who made the choice to kill them! That is calling wrong, right, and right, wrong. It is calling evil, good, and good evil. Are you so blind you cannot see? As long as this clear issue separates one party from the other, I'm going for the right to life, not right to kill. Christians that love God and his laws make the Godly choice - Republican. There actually is no other choice, unless Christians are lukewarm and are the vomit of God.

I'm done with this stupid dialog.

At some point doing the best we can means abandoning the greater AND lesser evils.
Well, if you want to sit it out and allow pure evil to triumph, that's your call. I would far rather have a narcissistic president that puts pro-life judges on the bench then sit it out and watch a culture of death take over.

Nor would I ask you to :)

Yes I guess bringing a baby into poverty is a step above murdering the poor kid, I'll give you that.
It is.... you might be trying to be flippant but I don't think God laughs at this one. Again, I would rather have a sinner in charge who might repent, then to sit back and watch a culture of death take a deeper hold into our society and our children and grandchildren!

And if His purpose is to get the world under the antichrist, who and how are we to stop it?
Why would that be His purpose? Jesus tells us to love the enemy and we will have our reward in heaven. Hopefully this will get people to repent and turn away from the antichrist and return to God.

"But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked." (Luke 6:35)

This can hold true in marriage where people may find themselves married to the enemy. They expect tit for tat. They expect people to repay them for what they do for them. If we are to go good for others then how much more should we do good to the person we are married to. Not expecting anything in return, only trusting that we will be rewarded in Heaven for what we do for people we are told to love.

Poverty and prosperity is a choice. Life and death is a choice, sickness and health is a choice, as is blessing and curse. There is a right and a wrong choice to make and God encourages us to make the right choice. No one said that was going to be easy. In fact Jesus tells us that this is going to be difficult. "But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." (Matthew 7:14)

Going to school and getting your degree is difficult. I was a single parent for 12 years so I know what a sacrifice this can be. BUT I was the one that benefited when I sacrificed myself for others. If you are going to sacrifice yourself, how much more should you sacrifice yourself for your son or daughter. Just as Jesus went to Calvary and sacrificed Himself for our sake.

Wow, “how does he affect you?” So we are to look out for our own well-being and not care for others? The point is, Republican policies allow Jeff Bezos to get disgustingly rich and not provide health insurance, fair wages, or even bathroom breaks to his workers. I mean the guy probably makes $5,000/day on missed bathroom breaks alone...

I was talking about abortion. You know killing a human being, and they bring up some rich guy that doesn't care about anyone but himself. He isn't even a politician! So how does he make you decide to be a Democrat? I can't quite equate killing babies with bathroom breaks. But both of you seem to. The blind leading the blind!

Another stupid dialog!

Good because I was about to place you on ignore. Talk about blind. I learned a while ago you cannot enlighten those who choose to live in ignorance. God bless you, and good luck with that lesser evil thing.

You asked how Republicans steal from the poor, were given an excellent real life example, and said why should we care. Jesus commanded us to care for the poor. Jeff Bezos is able to do what he does because of Republican policies.

I'm against - but you can't be a single-issue voter

The party that fights abortion is also the party that steals from the poor (and middle) and gives to the rich.

Are you for or against that?
They do not steal. They actually support people giving because they WANT to and not because of taxes. There is a difference in helping the poor and making them dependent on you. As my late father would say we will ALWAYS have the poor among us, but that does not make it OK for it to be the same poor. In other words, until the towards the end he would help people ( until his own health made it impossible for him to earn money, but that did not mean that he did not expect people to work to improve the situation that led to them asking for help. There is a difference in a hand up and a handout A handout out leads to dependence and hand up is designed to help you no longer need it.

Thank you all for your input.

Good luck to you on that lesser evil thing.

Me, I'm done voting for evil of any kind.
Your choice, but do not complain about who gets in office.

So until Christ comes it's ok to support the man who fornicates with women because he's a lesser evil than the man who fornicates with other men.

Sorry, I just can't buy that excuse any more.

Then don't vote. That's your right. I'm going to vote.

Given that Trump asked for the Ukrainian leader to investigate Biden the day after Mueller testified before Congress, what would make "Ken Rank" believe that this President learns from his mistakes or that he is inclined to repent rather than "double down" at some later date?

By enlisting the aid of the leader of a foreign nation to uncover "dirt" about his Democratic opponent that he intended to use to influence the 2020 Presidential Election, Trump has subverted the Constitution, broken his oath of office and attempted to undermine the electoral process!
