Teens do all kinds of dumb stuff (I have no excuse, I was already an adult). But I wouldn't take these things, sins of our youth, too seriously. No reason to torture yourself with them.

Yup. All part of growing up. One of our teachers in life is doing dumb/bad stuff. We can't become better if we never made mistakes.

We’ll, duh. Wouldn’t you?
The forgiveness part, of course. Nix on all your other stuff. The part I don’t un
Of course i would, however I didnt point that out for me, but for him to understand, I believe he would forgive them as we all would.

However he needs to come to the conclusion himself, so he needs to ask himself those questions.

If he can forgive them, well then why cant he forgive himself?

Dont worry Chico you have been forgiven, and if you still feel guilty about it, there will be many opportunities for you to forgive others, as we all have done wrong one way or another. If there was no forgivness, most of us would probably be in jail.

All we can do is thank God for his mercy and forgivness and forgive others, as God forgives us.[/QU
No, I did not. I wish I was that artistic.
Sorry, Choco, autocorrect keeps changing your name to Chico.

I am new here and do not know where to place this.
Christ saved me about a year ago. I know that I am saved, and forgiven of all of my sins. Yet, as a teenager, I was in the wrong crowd and got drug into crime. This would include smoking, stealing, and drinking. I never paid the price.
As an adult, I continuously feel like God will not forgive me unless I confess against the people I committed the crimes against and pay the price. I went to a local police officer that I know, who also happens to be a pastor, and confessed what I did. He said that Jesus paid my debt and that I should move on. But how? I did not pay. He said Jesus paid.
Am I being sinful by not confessing? I just feel so dirty. I was only a teenager, but I was still rebellious.
This is why the Church has the Sacrament of Confession.

It costs over $50,000 a year to keep someone in jail. Don’t go there. I set aside some money for homeless shelters and food pantries. I once saw a railroad underpass covered with graffiti. Some of the words were lewd or violent. I bought white paint and painted the concrete bridge support. People asked me who hired me. I told them I was a volunteer. Some months later there was graffiti again.

You have said that Jesus has forgiven you ALL your sins.

Why then do you think you need to confess and pay a price?
Are you wanted for any crimes? If yes confess to robbery, criminal assualt, murder etc

Otherwise spend time praising God for your forgiveness of ALL your sins.

Stop trying to pay for what has already been paid, you don't deserve the enormous expediture of love, grace and mercy lavished on you.

None of us do, accept it and worship your Saviour.

What could you do now to pay for the crimes you did back then?

Perhaps God IS telling you to make amends... Matthew 5:23“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, 24leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.

This.

Jesus paid all of your sin debt in full. What you are experiencing is coming from Satan. He is making you feel guilty for your past sins because you havent forgiven yourself. You need to pray for strength from Christ to forgive yourself. Sometimes it is hardest to forgive self.

Ive been through this, too. Its a tough road but in the end God will give you what you need to forgive yourself for all that youve done. Christ nailed your guilt to His cross. Let it stay there.

Jesus Paid it all -
And I hear the savior say
Thy strength indeed is small
Child of weakness, watch and pray
Find in me thine all in all
'Cause Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow
Lord, now indeed I find
Thy power and thine alone
Can change the leper's spots
And melt the heart of stone
'Cause Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow
It's white as snow, white as snow
It's washed away, it's white as snow
And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete
Jesus died my soul to save
My lips shall still repeat
'Cause Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow
He washed it white as snow
He…

Bro, read 2 Samuel 11 and 12. Its about King David and his big sin. I believe this will be very relatable and helpful to you.

We can pray for forgiveness but it doesn't mean we don't live regret-free for what we did (and got away with). Just like when someone is abused, maybe they can forgive the person, but they won't be able to forget what happened. Its baggage that will be there forever.
