How is that possible when they can print as much money as they want with nothing to back it, as long as they pay a fee to the Fed?
Those who know say it is inevitable but the drunken sailor never worries about it until the next day.

I don't know if any of you have seen the polar bear commercial but it says that because the icebergs are disappearing the polar bears are in jeopardy having to swim farther between the dwindling icebergs. They evidently need them to live and most are now covered with mud now and aren't white because of it but I don't understand that part of it I believe it is affecting most parts of the world. It has to and I don't understand those that believe that it is having no affect. For those that believe it is having no affect please explain your stand, thank you.
Ok. So yes everything is the will of God in heaven.
BUT we can still be stewards of the earth and take care of the gift God has given us.
What would that mean?
Being concerned about pollution, climate change, deforestation, etc.
Earth is a gift from God and we should not just ravage it. It is a precious gift from God.

Does God know?

According to Scriptures, it's happening because of our sins. However, He also tells us the solution:

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." II Chron 7:14

If we dont see it in those Scriptures, we can asks Him to get His response.

Climate changes constantly, in 100, 500 and 1000 year cycles. There are probably longer cycles, but those are the ones I know of. Climate swings from warm to cold and from wet to dry. The long-term trend is for a colder climate, as you can easily see in the green, averaged line in the diagram.View attachment 262766

This is an interesting chart of temperatures.
The problem is local variations may not reflect global variations, as you have to know if a global change of a few degrees would have any affect at all in extreme locations, where as on border areas the effect will be dramatic. For instance it is easily observable that the artic ice sheet is in decline, polar bears are suffering. So the case needs to be answered is this a local short lived effect or part of a global shift.

The argument seems to hang on things like the great barrier reef in Australia which is dying or on the measure of CO2 is the atmosphere which can be shown to be exceeding previous positions. We can model the whole climate now, and run simulations. We know the buried carbon in the perma frost and in the forests etc. and see the climbing of CO2 in the atmosphere. The danger is a run away effect, where there is no counter mechanism. If we identify both what we have created is new, and we have removed forests and other biological balancing mechanisms of the past, we are running the risk of a dooms day effect. And the simplest dooms day effect is the ice melting in the Artic, green land, and antartic, which will flood 100's of millions of homes in 50 years, if it speeds up. And we know it is speeding up.

Put simply we are in a technological world that can support 7 billion people. By 2050 probably 10 billion people. If we want to stop disaster and bring a reasonable future, we need to bring balance and knowledge to bare, and work through our issues. If we get it wrong, more and more extreme political groups will appear, and conflict will arise. As a people of love and peace, our hearts desire the road of resolution and not passive withdrawal.

Somewhere here in AZ they have done away with the home recycle bins offered by the city. I guess they were losing money. I think individuals are doing their own recycling. I know I am although I do give the city my small plastic bottles:)
As far as us coming up with a saving grace I meant with all the brains here on climate we should have an answer for the whole world to gain from:)
That is a good idea, because after China refused our trash, also some place in Malaysia is refusing the worlds trash. Lets be honest, today less than 10% of what you put in a recycle bin is recycled, most is going into a landfill. Some places in EU are burning trash to make electricity, a good idea.
Africa is also filling up with our trash, and people sort it out to make a meager livelihood.

It used to be called "Global Warming" however, to their chagrin, they found no evidence of this.. so they, after many emails and discussions, decided to change it to "climate change"... to keep the panic going.

None of the ridiculous global catastrophic events outlined in Al Gores fiction movie/docuhoax have came to fruition.....

Now, everything from too much snow, too little snow... too much rain... too little rain... anything and everything under the sun... is attributed to this farce.

Even the founder of "The weather network" has disputed that CO2 and man has had any impact on the world climate.

This is a farce, used to take money from your pocket and put it in the pockets of those such as Al Gore.

CO2 is what plants breath in. It is in our atmosphere at a concentration of 0.04%. That is after the scary increase of 0.5% from 0.038%.

Now, if you think that a gas that makes up that minuscule concentration of our atmosphere can cause the global catastrophe... please think again.

Our global climate is based on the amount and intensity of the sun, cloud, moisture and wind on the greatest media of the storage of thermal energy..........the oceans.

I am so sick of hearing of this. We are like sheep being lead around by this lie.

This happened in the 1900's. In the 70's they were screaming "ICE AGE". Then there was the "energy crisis"....

It's time that people started using their common sense.

. Yep common sense is right, as in learning some real science instead of pseudoscience. Global Warming got changed to Climate Change because too many laymen ( and the more ignorant people in the USA government) didn’t understand that extremely heavy snowstorms could be caused by global warming . The warmer oceans and air can hold more moisture. This means heavier precipitation. Despite laymen tending to use precipitation as a fancier name for rain, it actually applies to all water falling out of the sky which includes snow and hail.

I’ve already explained that plants use the extra CO2 to make carbohydrates instead of proteins. This makes them less nutritious and could make them more vulnerable to attack by predators and diseases.

Yes that “minuscule concentration “ of extra CO2 can cause problems. The understanding of greenhouse gases and how they work in earth’s atmosphere is 19th century science. We’ve understood this for a long time.
The Milankovitch cycles ( google) do cause cyclical climate changes but that is not what’s causing the current warming trend

All you have to do is look and think:

Richard Siegmund Lindzen is an American atmospheric physicist known for his work in the dynamics of the atmosphere, atmospheric tides and ozone photochemistry. In an interview posted on wattsup withthat.com, a global warming and climate change website, Lindzen said:

“The mostly nonscientist proponents of climate hysteria realize that distant forecasts of remote problems by inadequate models are unlikely to motivate people to shut down modern industrial society. They, therefore, attempt to claim that we are seeing the problems right now. Of course, the warming that has occurred over the past 200 years or so has been too small to have been a major factor. However, objective reality matters little when it comes to propaganda — where repetition can effectively counter reality.”

The the facts catch up. In 2015, the UK Daily Telegraph reported: “Two events last week brought yet further twists to one of the longest-running farces of our modern world. One was the revelation by the European Space Agency that in 2013 and 2014, after years when the volume of Arctic ice had been diminishing, it increased again by as much as 33 percent. The other was that Canadian scientists studying the effect of climate change on Arctic ice from an icebreaker had to suspend their research, when their vessel was called to the aid of other ships trapped in the thickest summer ice seen in Hudson Bay for 20 years.”

Your "poll" is missing an input for

1/ It's a farce
2/ The climate is changing, but it's not man made
3/ The climate is always changing
4/ Of course we should not pollute, but the climate is under God's control.

So..........I guess, in 1974, the coming ice age was "pseudo" science? Or is "Global warming" of now... pseudo science?

Both seem to cause flooding and drought.

You know what I think.... I think that it's all lies.... I think that David Suzuki is a very intelligent con man. So is Al Gore and all the others who are propagating this farce. ..

Guess I haven't been to the "Brainwashing" machine of modern academia... I've even seen videos of children who's biggest fear is "global warming".
THAT........is child abuse.

Another Ice Age?

In Africa, drought continues for the sixth consecutive year, adding terribly to the toll of famine victims. During 1972 record rains in parts of the U.S., Pakistan and Japan caused some of the worst flooding in centuries. In Canada's wheat belt, a particularly chilly and rainy spring has delayed planting and may well bring a disappointingly small harvest. Rainy Britain, on the other hand, has suffered from uncharacteristic dry spells the past few springs. A series of unusually cold winters has gripped the American Far West, while New England and northern Europe have...

Climate change? God will one day give the Earth more climate change than it can handle.

2 Peter 3:10
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

Then we definitely should keep it up. Another ice age is not in our best interest so if we can ward one off by being prosperous instead of becoming destitute that seems like a win/win to me.

I doubt God is impressed with our love for the combustion engine. Or, our love of convenience, for that matter. Long live carbon dioxide!!

I doubt He is impressed with our hubris.

ocean acidification, kidney problems, less nutritious plants , expanded range of disease organisms sounds like a win to you? Whatever flips your cookie! But it sounds likes a problem to me since all of these things are happening faster than living species can adapt to them and it’s causing extinctions. Humans are not the only species on the planet and a lot of these are crucial for our survival as a species. High numbers are not a guarantee against extinction either . Read 200 year old descriptions of passenger pigeon flocks blackening the sky with their numbers and realize that there isn’t a single one left .

The alternative is worse. Mass starvation, glacial ice over a majority of the livable space we now enjoy , complete societal break down, return to a very subsistence form of living marked with brute force as the answer to every problem and a strict patriarchal government. I can come up with additional conjecture about what a climate change in the opposite direction might entail if you like or given a bit of time and a program sufficiently GIGO to get the predictive results I want and a media willing to trumpet those results as if they are from on high and unquestionable, I can convince a number of people to become zealous in calling for additional CO2 to be emitted as fast as possible , as there is no time to waste because soon it will be too late. As a matter of fact it might already be too late because I said it would be too late ten years ago if something wasn't done five years ago, but let's not mention that. Then, I am confident that should anyone question the wisdom of such action those zealous believers in my predictions will immediately call them out as deniers of climate change and accuse them of not caring about the planet. .
