Yes it is all about Him not us. All glory belongs to Him alone. We are just the recipients of that which glorifys Him.
Perhaps now you may begin to understand that it isn't up to us to accept Him but up to Him to save us or leave us in our sin.
Paul does show us that truth very well here. To consider our calling, truth is our calling to the faith came from God and that is why we believed, for whom He called, them He also justified.
God does this choosing of us so the flesh has no reason to glory.
It was not because of any goodness about ourselves that God saved us, it was because the Lord our God loved us.
1 Corinthians 1
26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence. 30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— 31 that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”
Deuteronomy 7, God chose us because God loved us and he swore to keep His oath which He made to Abraham and the other fathers. Paul told us Abraham was the father of us all...
6 “For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.
7 The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; 8 but because the Lord loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
Romans 4:16 Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all
How marvelous are your works oh God.
“Known to God from eternity are all His works."
Hebrews 4:3, God finished all His works from the foundation of the world.
For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: “So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest,’ ” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”; 5 and again in this place: “They shall not enter My rest.”
Psalm 139
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.
