Kinda wondering if playing games that have guns but you don't use them a sin.

Playing games is "make believe". Its probably not a sin. Although some Christians disagree. But still you have to commit a sin to have it be a sin. Commission of sin requires an action against someone.

If you're wondering if it's a sin then you have to ask, is it compelling you to commit a sin? Then it may be a temptation. Cheers :)

This is one of my big question before, before I sacrificed playing games because It's giving me addiction...

But I learned from the Lord, it's all about making it balance...If the game is very violent like Grand theft auto, my opinion, it's not really good, it's affecting your mind..it's like your watching everyday a horror movie for 2 hours and then you will expect to always experience God's Joy, peace and Faith..(Philippians 4:8)

Right now, I play games daily, like RPG and shooting(PUBG, if you know)..but I make it balance like playing for 1 hour only..if Rest day, 2hrs maximum per day but it's 1 hr in the morning and sometimes 30 mins in the afternoon...

This question is like, is it sin to play Sports? or eating food? No it's not, but if we over do it, that's a sin, it will affect us.

1 Corinthians 10:23 23"I have the right to do anything," you say-but not everything is beneficial. "I have the right to do anything"-but not everything is constructive.

Philippians 4:8 8Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things.

I Play around 5 - 6 hours a day of video non violent games really is that too much?

Oh my! That's too much =(

I would suggest to make it less slowly..like 5 hours maximum then next week 4 hours maximum, coz it will affect your mind. until you can play only 1-2 hours/day.

I would suggest you could try in one time to play 1 hour only then always read bible, watch preaching video, testimonies, or anything about the Lord that will feed your mind about the Lord

Correct! :)

Not completely remove video game but make it less playing until it becomes 1-2 hours/day(like 1 hour in the morning then 1 hour in the afternoon or evening)

This is what I did before, I was playing 3-4 hours a day, it was terrible....there was a pleasure but it's just a short term only..

Then I always do that will feed my mind about the Lord...it's really great...I experience the Lord more in my life. :)

It really depends on the situation, listen to the conviction of the Holy Spirit to you...but if your mind is really affecting, like you always think about the game, that's kinda dangerous.

I sometimes think of some games on what i want to do in the future with them but never think about them 24/7

I don’t see how video games are a sin. Video games are getting more and more common and what we don’t think of most of the time, these are real people on them. If you spend 5-6 hours a day playing, I won’t be the one to say that it’s too much. That’s getting too legalistic for me. If we want to go that route then we might want to check how much time we spend on our phones, watching movies, etc. Video games are nothing more than a platform for entertainment where you cooperate or compete with other players.

What I do strongly encourage is that you start a ministry on them. Sounds like a great way to reach out to people. When I was growing up my friend and I used to have Bible discussions while playing battlefield. Those were great times!
