Cop out...

Think about what you’re supporting....Mueller finds that Trump clearly gave orders that amounted to an obstruction of justice. Why wasn’t that obstruction carried out...? Was it because Trump realised the error of his ways and rescinded those orders..?

No....it was because his underlings either had the good sense to ignore, or were fearful of the consequences...!

But, you’re still supporting a President who was prepared to put himself above the law...

If you believe what he did was criminal or impeachable, then write to your representatives and say you want Trump removed from office.

The Republican Senate will protect the party over anything else, so I don't think impeachment is useful. But in regards to 2020, Dems should really focus on the unethical behavior of the president as to why he needs to be voted out.
This is by far the best strategy. This report provides documentation and witness testimony, including some of President Trump's own, that he is dishonest and corrupt. It's impossible for someone to read it and not come to that conclusion.

At this point it doesn't matter that he wasn't charged with a crime or whether or not he is impeached. The report provides an endless amount of material to use against the president in the upcoming campaign season and that's where the Democrats need to put their focus.

The interesting thing will be to see if President Trump continues to get the support of the Evangelical community that voted for him in 2016 and was key to his victory with what they learn about him in this report. Regardless of his policies, I can't see how anyone can overlook the immoral and unpatriotic behavior that this report reveals about the president and those around him.

What I think doesn’t matter...I’m just some interested bystander from Australia.

But, what will you do...?

Then we'll know what the Mueller investigation was all about. A taxpayer funded witchhunt to get campaign material for the next democrat president candidate to use.

If the choice is to support Trump's re-election or the election of an extreme left-leaning, abortion supporting politician who is a proud socialist, then don't be surprised if we support Trump.

I'm going to be glad this Mueller investigation is done, the report was put out like the dems kept insisting, and that they are finally going to quit whining about Barr's interpretation of the report because they--and everyone else in the world--can finally see it for themselves.
Wait! They are going to quit whining, aren't they?

You do realize that there are primaries prior to the general election don't you? You can choose from other Republicans with similar values to represent the Republican party.

It was a really straightforward question...

Now that you know that your president attempted to place himself above the law and was only ‘saved’ by those unwilling to carry out his orders....what will you do...?

Yes, I know that. During the 2016 primary, I wanted Ted Cruz. But since he didn't become the nominee, I had to vote in the general election for someone else. That someone else on the Republican side was Trump since I was more in agreement with his political views than I was with Clinton's. That's how it works in an election.

That "witch hunt" bore quite a bit of fruit.

12 Russian spies: Charged with stealing Democratic emails
Michael Cohen: Pleaded guilty to tax and bank charges, campaign finance violations and lying to Congress
Paul Manafort: Sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for financial crimes
Konstantin Kilimnik: Charged with obstruction of justice
Roger Stone: Charged with lying to Congress
Michael Flynn: Pleaded guilty to lying to investigators
Rick Gates: Pleaded guilty to lying to investigators
George Papadopoulos: Served 12 days in prison for lying to investigators
Alex van der Zwaan: Served 30 days in prison for lying to investigators
Richard Pinedo: Sentenced to six months in prison for identity theft
Sam Patten: Pleaded guilty to failing to register as a foreign lobbyist
Bijan Kian: Charged with conspiring to violate lobbying laws
Skim Alptekin: Charged with conspiring to violate lobbying laws

And Trump's connection to any of this? I don't even see his name mentioned in that list.

Notice what isn't there. The mentioning of anything he could be found out about. He understood that an investigation of any kind is going to dig up some sort of dirt on someone. But alas, it has NOT been the end of his presidency.

In the world of common sense we understand that he was terrified and angry that his shady behavior and dealings were going to brought to light. He responded like a criminal who was told of evidence found against him: frightened and hopeless that the prison doors were about to slam shut for years.

Hes lucky, and that is also obvious.

The report has only been out a matter of hours. Just wait until congress calls people like Rosenstein and Mueller to testify. Between the report and the soundbites stating that the president is corrupt, it would be hard to imagine his career not ending by 2020 at the latest.

Even if it didn't end in 2020, I'm sure it wouldn't last more than 4 years beyond that. That's kind of the nature of presidencies.

Have you read any of the report yet?

I tried to, but couldn't keep my eyes open long enough. I think I may have found the perfect sleep aid. However, I'll trust the MSM, democrats in Congress and anyone else interested enough to find something they can use to read every letter of it and bring it to everyone's attention for debate.
