And why are you uniquely placed to reveal these lies and to pronounce that racism is no longer an important problem for minorities?
Like I said in one of my posts yesterday in this thread, minorities don't need white people coming into their communities and telling them what they need to do with their own lives or how they should live their lives or how they should feel about the racial injustices committed against their own people and their ancestors. Minorities don't need white people telling them to get over the past and move on.
I can't recall how many times I've heard white people try to insist how Native Americans should feel about their experiences as Native Americans or how minorities should react to racism against them. I've encountered many white people over the years who just had to add their two cents worth about what it must be feel like to be a minority or who have even tried to insist racism no longer exists.
You could not say anything? But what your post kinda does is stack yourself up against others.
Is someone less productive, or who can't pay taxes less valuable than you? Does someone less able, or less involved in their community have less value than you?
And yet, you say this as if this is normal.I don't think that most white people pay much attention to minorities.
How does that square with Christian doctrine? That's what the grading system in school and what the pay grade does, measures the worth to, and by, society, of each individual.
My short answer is...yes. The long answer is too long.
Just curious. What were the breaks you received?
Based on what you've revealed you may already be.
And yet, you say this as if this is normal.
I’m beginning to see a pattern.
Again, let's flip the question: Why would I not be comparable to a Windsorite?
How does that square with Christian doctrine?
So nothing in Scripture which values humans merely as economic entities. What you are espousing is a Marxist doctrine. To my knowledge there is no specific Christian doctrine concerning school grades and pay scales. If I were to impose a teaching on the topic I would cite this proverb:
"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest." Ecclesiastes 9:10
So nothing in Scripture which values humans merely as economic entities. What you are espousing is a Marxist doctrine.
Why is the economic value of human beings the most important? Why do you write off those who are less economically productive as "no-good lazy bums?"I'm talking economic/social value. Intrinsic (human) value is a different topic. However the two are somewhat related in that economic value can support intrinsic value, but intrinsic value can't support the lack of economic value. If you are a no-good lazy bum, or a criminal, it tarnishes your human value.
Why is the economic value of human beings the most important? Why do you write off those who are less economically productive as "no-good lazy bums?"
And I see that you edited the "no-good lazy bums" out of your post after I quoted it. That's good; you were beginning to sound like one of those conservatives who don't want their "hard-earned tax dollars" going to support "lazy poor people."I said neither of those things.

Okay. I’m out. Most white people don't live in communities with large minority populations. We do watch the news however. I interact with minorities from many countries but I don't pay much attention to their ethnicity. They are individuals and I respect them as such. It's when they become troublesome as a group that gets my attention.
Okay. I’m out.
Have a nice, enjoyable life “not thinking about minorities” and pray that Jesus isn’t Black.
