CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I hope that yesterday went well for all of you. 
A few days ago I was realizing just how amazing the universe and everything in it is - it's mind-boggling to think about. It really displays the magnificence of its Creator!

I stopped following after 151 Pokémon. I pretty much grew up in the perfect time frame when it first came out. Pokémon was over for me around 2001.

Happy Pi Day! Celebrate by having a slice of your favorite pie. Or maybe a cookie. Cookies are also round. Although I suppose cookies are more like little cakes than little pies, but you get the point.

I like that Pi pie in the photo! My mom and I are going to make St. Patrick's Day cookies today, but hey, they're round.

Found myself nodding the head in tune and softly singing along to a cover of Toto's "Africa" the other night in the lab as I bustled about. It was a good night, with just the right amount of workload to stay busy without having to be all in a rush. Had the room generally to myself, as during the night shift no one else int he building really ever has reason to be in my section for anything, and felt content in the moment due to much of the music on my playlist. Just one of those rather pleasant work nights.
It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do ....
