What is, or would be cool, is; if you look into it, or want to look into it, I think God did know, what the computers of today know, way back then, and I think it has to do with some of their celebrations, or Jubilee (as one example) or whatever, but I think God worked it into their system somehow to account for those things the Hebrew people had no way of knowing about... Or at least I think that's what you might find if you look into it or want to look into it... Which is pretty amazing really, or at least it is to me... I know He did, it's just been so long ago that I can't remember a whole lot of details about it though...

God Bless!
I agree with you on this and it is a fascinating study to do. One very clever YHWH.

That's what I promoted at first and had to regroup because of the numbers of the days. If the New Moon is a sabbath day on the grid of a month, it would be our Saturday. with the first weekly sabbath on the 8th with the second on the 15th and so on to the 29th.
Yes, but the new moon day was not called a Sabbath day, as the Sabbath is the seventh day.
Although no one was allowed to work on the day of the new moon.

Your dates are correct, well done.

Just stare at your papal calendar and note the Roman name of the day that each month starts on.

January starts on a Tuesday.
February starts on a Friday.
March starts on a Friday.
April starts on a Monday.

Whereas as a Lunar calendar each month is below.

January starts on a Sunday.
February starts on a Sunday.
March starts on a Sunday.
April starts on a Sunday.
Not if the first sabbath is the 8th.

Rubbish. Prove it.

Firstly, If the NEW MOON was created on the 4th Day of the creation week *GENESIS 1:14-19 and God's SABBATH was created on the SEVENTH DAY of the creation week *GENESIS 2:1-3 how can the SABBATH start on a NEW MOON?

The NEW MOON determines a NEW MONTH and does not reset the days of a week which are a continuous seven day weekly cycle.

Only sent in love as a help to you brother.
Wrong LGW, the ancient lunar month did reset the week. You must include the new moon day in your assessment otherwise you will be wrong.

Back to the OP now?

Now after 58 pages seems no one is able to answer a single question from the OP here.....

The challenge I am putting up here in the OP is for anyone to show even one scripture that says God's 4th Commandment of the 10 commandments (Exodus 20:8-11) which was spoken and written by God himself to his people, has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day.

Can anyone please show me where in all the bible does is say (SOLA SCRIPTURA; Scripture only please)...

1. That God's 4th commandments 7th day Sabbath has been abolished?

2. That Jesus is a Sabbath?

3. The Sabbath (seventh day) was ever changed from the seventh to the first day of the week?

4. Where we are told to keep the first day of the week holy?

5. Where the first day of the week (Sunday) is ever called a holy day?

6. That says that Jesus ever kept the first day (Sunday)?

7. That tells us to keep the first day in honour of the resurrection of Christ?

8. Where the first day is ever given any sacred name?

9. That affirms that any of the apostles ever kept the first day as the Sabbath?

10. From any apostolic writings that authorizes Sunday observance as the Sabbath of God?

11. Where we are told not to work on the first day of the week?

12. That says the seventh day is no longer God's Sabbath day?

13. That says the seventh day Sabbath is ABOLISHED?

14. Where the apostles ever taught any convert to keep the first day of the week as a Sabbath?

15. Where the first day was ever appointed to be kept as the Lord's Day?

16. Where the first day of the week is ever called the Lord's Day?

17. That says that the first day of the week was ever sanctified and hallowed as a day of rest?

18. That says that the Father or the Son (Jesus) rested on the first day of the week?

19. That says that Jesus, Paul or any other of the apostles taught anyone to observe the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

20. That calls the seventh day the “Jewish Sabbath” or one text that calls Sunday the “Christian Sabbath”?

21. Telling man to keep the first day of the week holy or to worship or rest on the first day of the week?

22. Authorizing anyone to set aside God's Sabbath and observe any other day?

23. Showing any of the apostles keeping the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

24. Authorizing someone to set aside the fourth Commandment and observe any other day of the week?

25. Where any apostle taught us to keep the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

26. Declaring that the seventh day is no longer the Eternal Sabbath day?

27. Where Sunday is now appointed to be kept as the New Testament Sabbath or holy day?

...................

Something to think about here because we are all accountable to God come judgment day where we will all be judged by the Word of God (John 12:47-48).

God's Word makes it very clear that if we follow the teachings of men over the Word of God we are not following God...

MATTHEW 15:3-9 [3],
[3], But he answered and said unto them, Why do you also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
[4], For God commanded, saying, Honor your father and mother: and, He that curses father or mother, let him die the death.
[5], But you say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift devoted to God, whatsoever you might have received from me;
[6], And honors not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have you made the commandment of God void by your tradition.
[7], You hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,
[8], These people draw near unto me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
[9], But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

If we are KNOWINGLY breaking ANY of God's commandments we are not worshipping God.

Look forward to your thoughts...

There you go brother, now your getting it. :)

The week days in a seven day week cycle do not change regardless of the calander used. It is a continuous cycle. This proves that at NEW MOON Sabbath theory is a false teaching. As God's 4th Commandments and GENESIS states that Gods SEVENTH DAY SABBATH is every SEVENTH DAY of the week.
It's true there aren't any missing days. Indeed days are continuous. The way the calendars are numbers the days differently. The New Moon is always the first day of the lunar month. This isn't true about the Gregorian calendar.

I stand corrected, sorry about that just substitute Saturday for Sunday.

This topic can get very confusing and the internet confuses it much more.

They do not understand that the old calendar of the Hebrews was not the Gregorian.

Was it (the new moons day) counted like any other day of the week, or was it kept out of that...?

David please do not simply say I am wrong when you ignore the scriptures, questions asked of you and the outside sources that disagree with what you are saying. Ignoring God's WORD does not make it disappear.

Please by all means prove your claims that the NEW MOON reset the WEEK? If you cannot why pretend that anyone is wrong without addressing the scriptures; questions and sources they have provided that disagree with what you have posted?

Firstly, If the NEW MOON was created on the 4th Day of the creation week *GENESIS 1:14-19 and God's SABBATH was created on the SEVENTH DAY of the creation week *GENESIS 2:1-3 how can the SABBATH start on a NEW MOON?

The NEW MOON determines a NEW MONTH and does not reset the days of a week which are a continuous seven day weekly cycle and the NEW MOON does not always fall on the SEVENTH DAY on the HEBREW calander or our Saturday.

Only sent in love as a help to you brother.

No new moon, incorrect sabbath day.

Then prove that EVERY SABBATH is a NEW MOON? You cannot can you. God's WORD says that the SABBATH is the SEVENTH DAY of the WEEK *GENESIS 2:1-3; EXODUS 20:8-11. While the NEW MOON is once a month. The MOON was created on DAY 4 of the creation week and the SABBATH on day 7. Do the math.

Did you have a look at the link provided brother on the Hebrew Calander from wiki? The Hebrew calander day names are not the same our calander day names that have their origin from paganism. The Hebrew calander names the days after GENESIS. That is day 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (preparation) and 7 (Sabbath). Monday to Sunday are days called after pagan Gods.

However the weekly 7 day cycle is still the same ans still a continuous cycle throughout the year under both calanders and does not effect the SABBATH which is every SEVENTH DAY according to God's WORD *GENESIS 2:1-3; EXODUS 20:8-11.

The Hebrew calander is based in the Luna cycle (Moon) while our calander is based on the Sola (Sun) the yearly day totals are different. The Luna being aroung 354 and Sola 365.

If your asking if the SABBATH days is still the same? Of course it is. There is no such thing as a NEW MOON Sabbath. God's SABBATH is every SEVENTH DAY of the WEEK. In both HEBREW (Luna) and our Calander (Sola) God's SEVENTH DAY Sabbath is always the SEVENTH day of the weekly cycle. That starts from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset our calander time.

God bless.

Apparently not, the count started after the day of the new moon. So the Sabbath always occurred on the eighth day and fifteenth day of each lunar month.

Pulled this up by doing a search "Does Passover happen on different days each year" and got this:

The Passover begins on the 15th day of the month of Nisan, which typically falls in March or April of the Gregorian calendar. ... However, due to leap months falling after the vernal equinox, Passover sometimes starts on the second full moon after vernal equinox, as in 2016.

Then modified it a bit to "Does Passover happen on different days on our calendar each year" and got this:

The March equinox coincides with Easter Sunday and holidays that are related to it. These holidays do not fall on a fixed date in the Gregorian calendar, or the Julian calendar, which is still used by many Orthodox Christian churches.

If that is true of Passover then it must be true of other days as well, right...?

Or, does it mean that the date or (number of the) day might be different, but same day of the week...?

But then, why would it (Passover) fall in "March "or" April"...? Doesn't make sense...?

God Bless!

Just engage the grey matter a little more.Day...date...day...date....day... date..

You will get there.

Only sent in love brother but your post has no truth in it. I have provided God's WORD and it disagrees with you. You have not provided a single scripture inside of God's WORD or outside that supports the NEW MOON SABBATH theory.

Now let's be honest here. You have no scripture do you and you have provided none. Please show from scripture or elsewhere that at the start of every new MOON is a SEVENTH DAY SABBATH and the weekly cycle which is continuous changes the days in the week?

also...

If the NEW MOON was created on the 4th Day of the creation week *GENESIS 1:14-19 and the God's SABBATH was created on the SEVENTH DAY of the creation week how can the SABBATH start on a NEW MOON?

Only God's WORD is true brother and we should believe and follow it *ROMANS 3:4

Sorry brother God's WORD disagrees with you.

This only further shows that your promoting a false teaching brother

You can read more about the Luna Sabbath false teaching here click me; and here click me; and here click me; and here click me.

*Biblical Sabbath here click me (wiki)

Hope this helps.
So my question is what provided the light and darkness on day one?
