I'm sure you do. Just like a witness giving false testimony under oath in a court of law means every word he speaks also. In fact the false witness has likely studied his testimony carefully to word it so that it answers what he wants it to answer. It just isn't the truth.

The contemporary versions use the Alexandrian set of manuscripts, which were corrupted from the time of about 200 AD.

And we don't REALLY know if the Alex mss. were corrupted or not, as none of us were present when they were made, & we don't know who made most of'em when or where, nor what sources they used.

"Christ", from the Greek "khristos", is one of Jesus' titles. It means "the anointed one". It's equivalent to the Hebrew "Messiah". remember, "Christ" means "the anointed ONE", not just "anoint".

I get that. but there are better translations that do that too like the NASB 72. Or just get yourself an interlinear.

Actually the NASB (and the ESV has the same egregious error) is a rather flawed translation. I made that point on the translation regarding the NASB's rendering of the Greek term entos in Luke 17:21 as "in your midst".

There is no instance in Greek before or during the time of Jesus where the term entos denotes "among" or "in you midst". I think we can all see the drastic difference when Jesus words and His teaching are changed from “The Kingdom of Heaven is within you” to “The Kingdom of Heaven is in your midst”.

I think we can all see the drastic difference when Jesus words and His teaching are changed from “The Kingdom of Heaven is within you” to “The Kingdom of Heaven is in your midst”.

Unfortunately, due to English not differentiating between singular and plural “you,” that has to suffice to keep it from referring to within an individual. It is within the group. “Among” is the best way to do that.

The Kingdom is NEVER an individual thing.

I challenge you to find one verse in Greek literature prior to and during the time of Jesus which uses the term entos as “among” or “in the midst”.

I think all of the major translations are good, barring stuff like the books used by the JW or Mormons. All of them point to Jesus' divinity, and include his teachings.
