GRACE IS FOR OBEDIENCE ...never seen it like that.. I Like "By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:"

When one uses the word "law".. need to explain more. Well the law of Moses? I think your talking about Gods moral law.. the 10 commandments.. yet some Jewish people read 15.. some only 9.. yet all are in just 2. Keep those.. and you have kept all.

Should be easy to see.. when He says.. "Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:" Grace..Gods unmerited favor. Which is used 170 times in the NT. For me.. never has He said shown me in any way its for obedience. Where I fail.. HE IS! Grace...truth ..I never give any thought to 10 commandments.. He is in me.. I never hmm for me NOT to do wrong.. sin.. I never see a LAW I am not to brake or not do.

I am free.. I can do anything I want.. freely sin? As He said.. God forbid. I never want to sin.. my flesh always does. As He said.. its no longer I that sin but sin that is in me. WHAT did HE make create NEW in us? And can that which He made new sin? He said.. that which is born of GOD does not sin. Do you see? If one sees only ME as in just flesh not spirit not two so to speak..then I can understand keeping 10 commandments and if I brake one.. grace is there. What died when Adam and Eve sinned? Sorry..

HOW CAN WE HAVE GOD'S GRACE IF WE HAVE NO LAW AND NO KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT SIN IS OR THE PENALTY OF SIN?
I think you have to go back to the beginning when there was only one law. Do not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Note that this is the "knowledge" of what already exists , good and evil, but without Adam and Eve's knowledge of it.
Now grace existed before the first sin. God made us with His Grace and in His image. After all, Grace means , favor, blessing, or even kindness, so God had this relationship with Adam and Eve from the beginning. He favored them over the plants and animals, He blessed them by giving them not only a paradise to live in but also a relationship with Him and His kindness abounded. So in other words from the beginning grace was given then Adam and Eve fell from Grace and now we have it back through Jesus Christ of Nazareth. "The Law" technically has nothing to do with it as it was not God's wish that man be under the law but His wish that man be under His Grace.

Brother these are questions to be answered with scripture according to the OP which you have not answered with scripture.

*How can you have God's GRACE without God's LAW?
*In regards to ROMANS 7:6 What is it that we are to die to that has bound us?

God bless.

Not read Romans 7 YET? The answer is in your question.

Romans 7:1-25
Or do you not know, brothers—for I am speaking to those who know the law—that the law is binding on a person only as long as he lives? For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage. Accordingly, she will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress. Likewise, my brothers, you also have
died to the law
through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God. For while we were living in the flesh, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our members to bear fruit for death.

God's law has been upgraded to local human law, which is the law we are to follow.

But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets. Romans 3:21

Do for others, as you would with them to do for you.
This is the foundation of the Law of Moses and of the teachings of the prophets.

God's law is no longer needed under the new covenant.

Here let's answer thw first question using the scriptures.

WHAT IS GRACE FOR?

ROMANS 1:5
5, By whom we have received GRACE and apostleship, FOR OBEDIENCE TO THE FAITH among all nations, for his name.

TITUS 2:11-12
[11], FOR THE GRACE OF GOD HAS APPEARED BRINGING SALVATION TO ALL MEN,
[12], TEACHING US, THAT, DENYING UNGODLINESS AND WORLDLY JUSTS, WE SHOULD LIVE SOBERLY, RIGHTOUESLY AND GODLY IN THIS PRESENT WORLD

ROMANS 6:1-2, [1] What shall we say then? SHALL WE SIN [break any one of God's 10 commandments], THAT GRACE MAY ABOUND? God forbid. [2], How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

God's GRACE IS FOR OBEDIENCE to GOD'S WORD.

Did you wish to answer the other questions?

Sin is not breaking "the ten commandments" or any law.

17 Therefore, whoever knows the right thing to do, yet fails to do it, is guilty of sin.

Sin is doing wrong, instead of what you think in your heart is right.

Psalm 139:1
O LORD, You have searched me and known me.

Psalm 139:2
You know when I sit and when I rise; You understand my thoughts from afar.

Proverbs 15:11
Sheol and Abaddon lie open before the LORD--how much more the hearts of men!

Jeremiah 17:10
I, the LORD, search the heart; I test the mind to reward a man according to his way, by what his deeds deserve.

I would say the same of you.
Absolutely. God's law in in my heart. Not in any writings.
The writings of law in scripture are obsolete.

Acts 1:24
And they prayed, "Lord, You know everyone's heart. Show us which of these two You have chosen

1 Samuel 16:7
But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or height, for I have rejected him; the LORD does not see as man does. For man sees the outward appearance, but the LORD sees the heart."

2 Chronicles 6:30
be heard by You from heaven, Your dwelling place. And may You forgive and repay each man according to all his ways, since You know his heart--for You alone know the hearts of men--

Psalm 44:21
would not God have discovered, since He knows the secrets of the heart?

That's not even related to grace.

So grace is favor, "unmerited favor." Salvation by Grace. Grace is, therefore, God's unmerited favor - His goodness toward those who have no claim on, nor reason to expect, divine favor. The principal manifestation of God's grace has been in the form of a gift.
"THE GRACE OF GOD"

"THE GRACE OF GOD"
Grace is the unmerited favor of God. It is where God shows us mercy, kindness, and patience instead of the judgment that we deserve for sinning against Him. God's grace cannot be earned by our actions. Grace is based on the character of God and not on our sincerity, performance, or ability to keep the law. Otherwise, grace would no longer be grace.

Romans 11:6 - "But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace."

The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

We are saved by grace through faith, not works, not of ourselves it is the gift of God. (Ephesians 2:8,9)

Galatians 2:21 - "I do not nullify the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly."

2 Timothy 1:9 - "who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity."

Yet God's grace (enabling power) operates sovereignly in the lives of believers.

1 Corinthians 15:10 - But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

2 Corinthians 1:12 - For our proud confidence is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you.

2 Corinthians 12:9 - And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

Titus 2:11 - For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age.

I try not to oppose his law and work always to do what is right in my heart.

The only law we are to follow now is mans law. As Jesus did explaining that mans law was The Fathers will, even resulting in His crucifiction.

Romans 13:1-7
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience. ...

1 Peter 2:13-17
Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.

Titus 3:1
Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,

So its OK to lie because its not against mans law?

Lying is fully condemned in local law. Obstructing justice, purgety, etc.
Even the president is scheduled for jail after his term in office for perjury.

Its not against mans law to lie to each other though.

Verbal contracts are binding as well as written ones. But harder to enforce.
Law is the culmination of formalized morality.

Morality includes unwritten law as well and that which is codified in local law.

It's not moral to eat dinner for free in the grocery store.
But tasting the grapes is requested by management.
So not all law is in writing and agreed upon by majority vote.
As I was saying, the written code does not work well.
